A friend recommended this as a good glimpse into what addiction is like. It was depressing and raw and vulnerable, and I can appreciate that. It was also very disorganized and repetitive. So if you're interested in addiction or Mathew Perry, it's worth reading. But it's not an amazing story on its own.
I was so surprised with how much I loved this. I don't usually read historical fiction, but this really drew me in. And I loved the characters. They're all so real and fleshed out. And even the side characters are so well done.
I cried at the end. Not because the book is sad, but because I was sad to leave this story.

Definitely a fun time!!
This book was not perfect by any means, but it's very entertaining. The characters are the best part, by far. And the slow burn romances are fun.
One issue with the book, is that there's a lot of convenient saves. That didn't bother me too much, but they're definitely there.
I also didn't realize before picking up the book that it's YA. The only thing that really bothered me there were the ages of the main characters. I just don't think 17 year old are doing all this.

This was great! I LOVED the writing and all the snarky little comments. I wasn't expecting it to be funny and it really was.
Great choice for a book club. I thought one thing when I finished reading the book. And then after discussing I completely changed what I thought was actually going on. And that was a fun surprise.
It's definitely weird. But I had a blast.

This book has SO many things going on at once. And I think the author actually did an amazing job at keeping everything straight. But it's almost too much. I loved the beginning. I struggled in the middle because we kept getting so many new characters (and I wanted to go back to the ones I already knew and cared about), and by the end I couldn't keep track of everything to 100% understand the ending. And I took notes!!
