Loved it!! This was the cutest enemies to lovers, big city turned small town, romance between billionaire boss and his assistant. It was all of my hallmark favorites in one book! Such a cute storyline. I love getting to know all the members of the small town, reminded me alot of my hometown. I highly recommend! I hope she writes a story on Savannah in New York next!

I recommend this! I am biased because I am a huge fan of his acting. This was a good mix of weird stories, laughing until I'm crying stories, and inspiring stories. I loved how he read it, the announcement of ‘prescription', ‘bumper sticker', and ‘green light'. I think him reading the book is what really made it so great. This wouldn't be as entertaining as a physical book. A couple noteworthy quotes.
Book was good. Standard happily ever after story line with just enough conflict to keep it interesting. It was hard to put down! This had a little too much smut and not enough storyline for my personal preference, but to be fair the book had an extensive warning at the beginning of how spicy it was!

I really enjoyed this collection on prayers. I enjoy hearing how others pray - what pulls on their heart, what angers them, how do they like to talk to God, etc. This audiobook was a great collection of prayers from so many different perspectives. I really enjoyed the “chicken noodle soup” prayers - it helped me to visualize the prayer and feel the emotions. I learned about breathing prayers and look forward to practicing those more.
This book caught my attention because I have felt distant from God and have felt like I lost my ability to pray - which has always been a huge part of my life. This book was good encouragement reminding me to pray however and wherever I want. I was hoping this would have more instruction on prayer, but I'm thankful that it didn't.
I recommend this book if you need to shake up your boring, stale prayer life.

I really enjoyed this book as a quick summary on one man's journey toward enlightenment.
I was first drawn to this book by the title - I try to live my life 1% better everyday.
This book was like reading the private journal of the author- all his wins and losses on his journey, both professionally and in his meditation practices. I have recently taken an interest in enlightenment/meditation, but after not being able to finish a book by Eckhart Tolle I thought maybe it was all just a bunch of BS. This book rekindled my interest and hope in learning more on the subject.
The author works as a reporter for some major news channels and it was incredible hearing how he worked through major events in history and the world changing people he got to interview.
Overall, pretty good book if you are looking for spark notes on enlightenment and learning more on the power of meditation.

This book focused on the principle of Ubuntu - “I Am Because We Are” and love conquers all.
It taught me how to love yourself, your posse, and the world. She is a Christian pastor and mentions scripture, but her focus is inclusive love. No matter what your faith is, we can all agree that we need more love in the world. I liked how this book was so relevant - it was released in the past few years and references the COVID shutdown, racial discrimination, and spiritual divide. This book encouraged me to reflect on my own religious beliefs - do I take the bible too literally, do I love first, do my actions reflect the self-less love of Jesus.
Overall, this book was good and I would recommend it. It emphasizes how love could solve all the injustice in the world. A very beautiful story.
I am hoping to read more books that share the struggles of racism, inequality, and injustice.

This book was incredible! I laughed, I cried, I reflected, I learned, and I was left in awe at the possibilities of life.
I choose this book on a whim hours after having LASIK eye surgery done and needing something to listen to, and thankfully this was a long enough book to get me through my recovery. I have always been interested in understanding the workings of our government and life inside the white house, especially since watching the TV show Scandal.
This book was everything I hoped for and so much more! I loved Michelle's authenticity throughout! She speaks straight to the point, no BS, and she's not afraid to disagree with her husband. I loved hearing about their romance, trips to meet the Queen of England, and how she used her platform as FLOTUS.
I could rave on and on about the wonders of this book, but I don't want to spoil it. Go read it and allow it to impact you!
Highly recommend this book!
I stopped with 4 chapters left, it felt so repetitive and boring. I couldn't force myself to finish it.
The book was ok.... the romance was cute, slightly sinful, but there were moments that the lead female character, Charlotte, was too much for me. She has a lot of past hurt and she's working through that with this new relationship, but there were moments I thought ‘omg, you're an adult, please act like it'! She allowed her past hurts to control her life and I couldn't read about her self pity any longer.
Overall, their romance was cute, but I do not reccomend this book. Not worth the frustration.
DNF - Audiobook
I stopped at about 35%, chapter 7.
It was good content on changing your thinking associated with time and how things only happen in the ‘now', but then it got too weird for me. The book is written in a Q&A style which had its pros and cons. This is probably better for someone that has a better understanding of sprititual enlightenment, but it was too far from my personal beliefs that I couldn't grasp it.
Audiobook
HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone who struggles with anxiety, overthinking, and just bad thought patterns. This book was INCREDIBLE!!! Every chapter I was thinking ‘this author is inside my head, like she knows exactly what I'm struggling with!' Not only did the author identify my struggles, but she gave bite-sized action steps with each chapter. This will become a regular listen for me as I continue working on my overthinking. Huge thank you to the author for such an incredible book!

Some really good points on overcoming procrastination and anxiety associated with large, intimidating tasks. He also had some sections that were no longer relevant (like trying to be disconnected in our current world) and some off putting comments (like be more productive by coming to work earlier, staying later, not talking with coworkers).
Overall, good read and would reccomend to those that struggle getting started when the task seems intimidating.
