Finally! Chase's long‑awaited redemption! Throughout all the hurdles, and man did he have them, Chase reclaimed his narrative, and I'm thrilled to celebrate his hard‑won triumph!!

Unapologetically raw wrap‑up that stitches together the series' towering trauma with a profound love!

Epic storytelling that is both heartbreaking and hopeful!

Alex and Silver's bond deepens, offering fleeting glimmers of joy amid the darkness, yet the pair remain trapped in perilous circumstances that continue to test their fragile sanctuary.

Alex and Silver 🖤🤍 share a deep, unbreakable bond—love and respect that make them each other's safe havens. From the first page I was hooked, watching them navigate painful, hard‑won moments together while still finding strength in their connection.

This story deals with intense emotional trauma and abuse.

Jasper's novel proves anything but a breezy read; Cooper drifts through the story driven more by desire than devotion, showing scant character development, whereas Freddie emerges as a formidable, incisive presence—a woman fully aware of her own value and unafraid to claim it.

Meghan Quinn stands among my favorite authors, effortlessly blending humor, romance, and relentless perseverance to make me laugh, swoon, and bravely endure her delightfully torturous, deliberately slow‑burn storytelling.

Eli Hornsby may wear the reputation of a playboy, yet beneath that swagger beats a remarkably pure heart.

Penny's quirky, hilarious spirit lights up every scene, leaving me both laughing out loud and feeling utterly delighted.

A brilliantly torturous slow‑burn romance!

Jasper is a golden‑retriever hero who falls hard for a wounded black cat. His endless swoons had me grinning and kicking my feet.

The supporting cast is so lively they practically jump off the page, and I'm already queuein up book 2!

I'm absolutely thrilled for the sequel!! This romp was a riot, and I'm practically on the edge of my seat wondering what comes next; I sincerely hope his parents return for book two, since they truly stole the spotlight.

How I love the story of Hades and Persephone! This spicy retelling serves up enough intrigue and plot twists to keep me hooked from the underworld to the garden of pomegranates. It proves that ancient tales can still sizzle in modern hands!

I listened to the audiobook and was very impressed with the narrators involved, though a few awkward pauses (like imagined page turns) pulled me out of the story for a moment.

I received an ALC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

A beautifully messy love saga! It hits you with all the highs and heartbreaks of true romance, then pulls you back in with a redemptive twist that feels like a warm hug for a bruised heart. Seriously, my emotions rode a rollercoaster!

Your heart will thank you (and maybe need a band‑aid).

It's a love story that hits you from every angle—painful enough to feel real, beautiful enough to linger, strong enough to inspire, and pure enough to keep you believing in love.

Feel-good romance! Between witty banter, heartfelt longing, and quirky friends, this was so enjoyable! 💕

The author's gift for turning pain and destruction into hauntingly beautiful lines....wow!

While the story won't stick with me, her knack for writing will!

What...no seriously...what!?! The twists! omg

Wow, that ending totally blew my mind—I actually thought I'd slipped into a completely different book for a second before everything clicked into place!

Props to the author for pulling off such a wild twist; it gave the whole series a fresh jolt and kept me glued till the last page!!! I've loved this story so far, and this surprise finale just proves why I'm hooked.

It's a dark, gritty plunge! Check your trigger warnings!! Kudos to the author for painting such a bleak canvas with razor‑sharp tension!

The writing is beautifully disturbed:

Who knows what the rabbit feels when the hawk lands, pinning it to the ground? When those cruel talons close around its body. When it lifts up into the sky . . .
Maybe the moment of capture is bliss.
Maybe it feels like flying.

When I first saw this, I braced for a dark romance, but the book turned out to be a deep‑dive into grief's abyss. One character surrenders to sorrow; the other runs from it so hard he forgets how to love.

What emerges is a surprisingly beautiful love story woven through tragedy, stitched together by a brilliant mind that no one could rescue. It's a tale of growth, redemption, and finally staring down the painful truths we usually dodge.

The plot gets buried under a lot of steamy scenes, and the characters were a struggle to connect with. It was tough for me to get through because I never felt a real investment in the outcome or any connection with the characters, leaving the whole experience feeling like sparkle without substance.

EDIT: 24 hours later I'm still reflecting on this story. It's a tangled, beautiful mess that shows we all need a little self‑repair and maybe some marriage therapy. I wanted to soak it up, but Myla's got this bold, confident, razor‑sharp humor that masks deep‑seated trauma hurting her marriage. Ryot's unwavering commitment and devotion to Myla are truly a thing of beauty.

Thank you, Meghan, for writing such a beautifully complex relationship that 24 hours later, I am still reflecting.

*****

I wanted to enjoy this one, but i find myself struggling with Myla. While she has a bold, confident, and hilarious attitude, unhealead trauma from her past is harming her marriage. I felt Ryot deserved better or at least for Myla to try.

An absolutely devastating masterpiece—my review will utterly fail to capture the torment, the faint flickers of hope, the sorrow, the fear, and reflections this book provokes. I wept at the end. WEPT. Framing it as a Harry Potter fanfic, though that's where it sprouted, does a disservice to this masterful story; it's far more than a spell‑bound homage, it's a raw, relentless plunge into the human condition that lingers long after the last page.

Thank you, NetGalley, Hatchet Audio, and the author for the early‑listen! This is an honest review.

As a self‑confessed “dark‑romance girly” I was so excited for this! However, it failed to live up to expectations.

The heroine's frustration with the male lead rings hollow because she mirrors his missteps without owning any of them! The male main character's relentless “college‑girl snatch” refrain was an irritating mantra.

This story blends Cinderella‑like magic with gut‑wrenching heartbreak. I found myself wrestling with moments that made me sigh, “Really?” only to be pulled back in by the characters. In short, it's a bittersweet fairy‑tale that sticks long after the last page, confirming that this author deserves a permanent spot on my radar!

Thank you to Camelia Varga and Book Sirens for this ARC! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

It's crazy how little buzz it gets right now, because it totally deserves the hype. I've already added it to my all‑time faves, and I can't wait for the next book!!

This series should be getting way more buzz!!! It twists, it turns, it delivers!!!

It's like stumbling onto a secret treasure chest of world‑building magic and raw, relatable feelings that the author nails every. single. time!! I've been binge‑reading it and can't believe how quickly it's become one of my all‑time faves.

A perfect rom‑com!! I was laughing out loud from beginning to end. Witty banter, charming mishaps, and those perfectly timed heartfelt moments. swoon!

Walker and Kate! Their gradual friendship, seeing the best in each other and falling in love is so genuine! And that twist late in the story! Loved it!

I'm hopeful someday we get The Brentwood Boys: The New Class (the idea alone made me laugh), and I'd love Dan's story someday!
