The first book is one of my all time faves but this one just wasnt it for me.
Felt slower even tho it takes places over a shorter period of time. and the whole story felt very out of character for the Pippa we met in book 1

I normally hate misscomunication but this was so well done and cute i couldn't hate it.
I think i knew that jake was luca about 20% into the book and there was no real love triangle, but that didn't make the book any less enjoyable.
Authough I would have loved it it was a bit more of a suprise.
Overall tho Loved this book and the charecters,
Also the ending was the cutest part of a romance book ever written

This book is so bittersweet, so sad to be saying goodbye to this group of characters,
Sadly tho this was my least favourite in the series.
I found Bailey to be the least detailed FMC in the series and the lack of communication at key points made some chapters hard to read.
Overall though I would definatly recomend this book especially if you have already read the rest in the series.
But please read the TW before reading this book,
PS - to my teacher who said she picked up the first book in this series, i am 18 lets never mention the contents of this series

Elle Kennedy does it again.
Before reading this book I 100% recomend looking up the trigger warnings as this book does have a bit of triggering content.
The deal is one of my all time faves and I picked this book up not knowing this was a second gen book that follows hannah and Garrett's daughter.
Also the female sports representation is incredible and needed, I have never read a book where the FMC is the hockey player, this book also covers how unfair womens hockey is multipul times and brings up an important conversation.
The only issue I have with this book is how quick the end was. The first half of the book dragged on but the last 100 pages felt rushed. especially the marriage plot
Hannah and Garret feel like grown up version of them selvs which is nice because in some second gen books the parents feel either 1 - as if they haven't aged and are still collage aged or 2 - like compleatly new charecters
The best example I can think of is that Garrent still calls hannah wellsy or how he is so protective over their kids.
I loved fourth wing, i don't think i realised how much I loved it until i read another book after and all i could think about was reading this book.I didn't think it could get better than Fourth wing but it did and I am sure i will love the third book when that comes out! From the very first page, the writing draws you in and refuses to let go. The world-building in the first book is expanded on more including how magic works, especially with XadenThe character development in this book is outstanding. Violet's unwavering determination, Xaden's internal struggles, I am in love with their relationship and the friendships throught this book. even tho it is definitely not primarily a romance the romance is incredible โI'm in love with you. I have been since the night the snow fell in your hair and you kissed me for the first time.โThe plot is a lot faster than book 1 in my opinion, but that may just be because i read this quicker than book 1.Rebecca Yarros has created a world that is so vivid and immersive, I felt like I was right there alongside the characters, experiencing everything they were. If you're a fan of epic fantasy with a healthy dose of romance and adventure, do yourself a favor and pick up this book โ you won't be disappointed![bc:Fourth Wing 61431922 Fourth Wing (The Empyrean, #1) Rebecca Yarros https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1701980900l/61431922.SY75.jpg 96945623][bc:Iron Flame 90202302 Iron Flame (The Empyrean, #2) Rebecca Yarros https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1706724269l/90202302.SY75.jpg 114498467][a:Rebecca Yarros 7539785 Rebecca Yarros https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1689003619p2/7539785.jpg]

This is a Wattpad book, I am not saying that as an insult i mean this was originally posted to wattpad and was recently published.
For a Wattpad book this is good and a solid read, for a published book it is nothing special.
The story is super fast paced, as in the main characters make out in the first few chapters.
Although Kendell's friends are semi fleshed out characters we know almost nothing about Vincent and his friends.
This book could have been 100 pages longer and added more information on Vincent, adding kendell meeting his friends like he promised, or adding them meeting each other's families like mentioned.
Those things missing take this from a 3.5 to a 3 star, because for what the book it it is good at, but the things it is missing could make it so much better.

Tried to read this book about a year ago and only got about 20% in, that is because the first 30% of this book is super quick there is not much world building in the first half, I think this is because this is a part of a series so this whole book is anout world building but after 30% this became one of the best books I have read in months,
ALSO THE ENDING WTF I NEED TO ORDER THE SECOND BOOK RN

Loved the Idea but parts of the book felt rushed, whereas other parts felt as if they happened to slow. other than that loved the book.
Slight enemies to lovers but more the main love interest being enemies with the FMC's family rather than them hating each other except for the first few chapters.

This book is very predictable, not that that is a bad thing just not really the kind of book I would re-read or give a higher rating,
For what is was it was great- easy to read rom-com with detailed charecters.

what is real and what isn't,
This is the best book I have read... ever
Scarllet was such an amazing main charecter the romance with Julian felt super well done and in my opinion was well done. and it made sence.
The ending was everything I could have asked for, WOW!!!
as good as this book was it was not for me, It took until the 3rd part for me to understand a thing that was going on, as soon as i had gotten to that part I couldn't put the book down but even then after I finished it it felt as if I still didn't understance 80% of the book.
I know there is a second book but I dont plan on reading it any time soon.

I only really read it because i am reading the series but if it wernt for that I definatly wouldn't have picked up this book.

This book got me out of my reading slump. a short sports romance is everything I ever needed so much so I need it to be longer.
Bex is genuanly the best FMC I have ever read and James is a perfect Boyfriend.
There are 2 reasons this isn't 5 stars.
1 - I can't stand Bex's Mom and Ex. I know that is the point but it wasn't written as well as it could have been done and I feel like both those charecters are brushed over
2 - They never offically switiched to real dating and for 3-5 chapeters I was genuanly confused before I figured it out
Anyways well written book with a well written Love interest and FMC. what not to love. Might I add it is also an american football romance
best book in this series so far by a lot,
Even tho it took me over a week to read that was because I was strugling to read more than 20 pages a day.
Summer was already one of the best charecters and this book made me love her even more, I think the friendship between summer and Allie is the best friendships in a book I have read before.
And Dean and Allie have easily become my favourite book couple. the way he is so pretective of her without being overbaring was so sweet and made me fall in love with this book
I have heard such good things about Ali Hazelwoods books, but I have never really enjoyed one. I read the love hypothisis and it was okay, I DNFed check and mate and Love Thoreticlly.
When I found out she had relised a fantacy book I decided to give her writing another go.
I liked the idea and what the plot was trying to be. but with her writing style and way she writes characters it just wasnt all that for me personally.
Was trying to figure out why my spredsheet had 1 more book than my goodreads and this is why, For some reason I didn't Post about or review this book!!
I absolutly loved this book, i actually only read it because there is a taylor swift song based on this book (Tolerate it) and yep that song sums up the romance in this book perfectly.
I cant remember much about this book but there are definatly things that still stand out, even tho I read it over 3 months ago
