Great. Fabulous. Perfect. Yes.

I don't think I'll be continuing on with this series. It's getting a bit too wonky for me.

The characters were too childish and seemed like caricatures. Would not recommend.

The story is fast paced and engaging, but I can't recommend it to anyone because the book is seriously lacking. It just happened to be what I needed to read at the time and that's why I enjoyed it.

I so want to give 4 stars because it felt so real and honest, but parts of it just felt too whiny to me.

Wow. Definitely wasn't expecting that.

3.5 stars

Fast paced and engaging, it's a good way to kill an afternoon.

Wow. This book is so dark?? I felt so uncomfortable after I finished reading it, but I do think it's worth the read.

Nyphron Rising is a solid 4 stars in comparison to The Emerald Storm which I'm giving 3 stars. I can't tell if the fourth book is slower or if I just didn't enjoy it as much because I read it over such a extended period. I'm looking forward to finishing the series though!

This one read so easily, it was great. Loved the wit and humor!

This one seemed to be the slowest book out of the series for me, even though so many things happened. I was happy with the ending though, all the ends were tied up nicely. A solid series!

Solid 3.5 stars.

This was just so incredibly boring. What a disappointment.

I really loved the banter between the two main characters. What a quick fun read, I definitely recommend it!

Ignoring the age gap, I still struggled with the story. I felt no connection to the characters at all. The writing style bothered me, but I could appreciate the beauty of the words.

3 stars to the story, 5 stars to the audiobook.

The writing was far too poetic for my taste for a novel of this nature. Gory and outright disgusting at times, it was an good revenge tale.

The story overall is a bit lacking, but the dialogue makes up for it. Caymen's sarcasm is A+
Would have given it 4 stars but the ending took me by surprised and the L-word immediately made it lose a star.

Really glad I opted for the audiobook version as well! The narrator does an excellent job with all the characters!
