I think I hadn't read the summary before reading the book, so I was expecting a small town contemporain romance. I did get one and I also got a new chief of police heroine trying to solve a mysterious death.
All I can say is that both sides were well executed and I'm curious to read the other books in the series and see what's gonna happen next in Quincy, Montana.
The characters were well fleshed out and I really like the setting and the towns people.
Side note, the covers are beautiful

Wow! Un livre tellement plein de revirements! Je n'aurais pas pu prévoir ce qui allait se passer en débutant ma lecture! Je pense que c'est mieux de lire ce livre en ayant presqu'aucune de dans quoi on s'embarque. Le bonheur est aussi dans la découverte!
Je peux toutefois vous garantir que la route est agréable, quoi que parfois quelque peu déroutante! Marie Potvin ne m'a jamais déçue jusqu'à présent! ❤

Such a purely cozy and entertaining read, I loved every word of it! ❤ I'm excited to know that next year I will still be able to dive into the little town of Evenfall for another witchy adventure with the sequel!
