Bliss makes online dating hot which for anyone who has actually tried to date, you know the probabilities. The author gives us plenty of steam. I love the family dynamic. Every character is essential to making Jack and Dakota work. The issues of divorce, careers in law enforcement, raising kids, and coming out later in life and the repercussions for everyone involved is brilliantly handled by Bliss. I just love I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You.

Morgan Christie's personal essays reflect the world we live in today. Christie shares their viewpoints on racism, commercialism, branding in athleticism and false idols, profiling, misogyny, and the list goes on. Most of these essays are from a personal point of view with an anecdote from Christie's own life and how it connects on a global scale.
I think Boolean Logic would be a great addition to any sociology class or English class for people to discuss and to be illuminated by life that they may not see to do their own privilege. Christie made me think and I have read a lot of books, but I am always eager to learn more and to check my own self at the door.

This is a great tool for kids to learn and grow. Sometimes parents don't know where to start or what tools to give their kids to help them succeed and this is one tool that can help. There are resources, exercises, and ideas to help kids get started from simple ideas to more complex problems. This journal is all about self-empowerment while teaching kids to utilize the resources around them. Totally recommend.

Sam J. Fires manages to keep the adrenaline going in book two of the “After the End” series. I wasn't expecting Grip of Despair to be so good, but it was. No one really gets any answers, but we kind of do and I'm good with that as Fires keeps us guessing and cringing.
I like that Dunn is such an honest guy. There is a scene that is surprising amidst all of the chaos. It says a lot of Dunn. I can't wait to see where this story takes us and that's why I keep coming back for more Fires series because they usually keep me hooked.

The Flying Mermaid may be a quick little story, but it has heart. Of course, Bluebell stole the show for me, but then a furbaby always will.

Cheyenne Blue gives us a bit of a twist on the fake dating/marriage trope as everyone knows that Tarryn and Sophie are not getting married for real, but faking it leads to real complications.

Basically, eat healthy, get fresh air, eat some mushrooms, and stimulate your nerves. Once again, I wouldn't buy this book but borrow it.

From Bad to Cursed is completely different from the first book in “The Witches of Thistle Grove” series. Lana Harper gives us a mystery in the second book of the series.
I love this second entry of the series and I cannot wait for the third book.

I really enjoyed Corbin and Alex's love story. I forgot that this was even a holiday story because I was so invested in them as individuals and as a couple. I am a huge fan of Roan Parrish and they did not disappoint in The Remaking of Corbin Wale. This is a story that will be on my re-read list for every holiday season.
Ciara Smyth gives a funny meet cute coming of age and falling not in love romance. I'm sighing even now because I've read the book twice now and I just don't want it to be over.
