This is a great book to notice, question and discuss classism, sexism and eugenics in our society. Not only in the West, but across all locations, cultures and times.

Of course no one needs this story to realize all those kinds of discrimination and injustice exist in the world, but I think it offers an extremely fresh perspective.

I think humankind has yet to make a huge paradigm shift regarding those issues, compared to the paradigm shift flatlanders would go through if they learned about the 3rd dimension.

Pretty cool read.

El título suena lindo, me suena a un sano y pacífico año sabático. Pero no. Rápidamente la historia se va al mismísimo demonio, incluyendo toda clase de relaciones tóxicas, abuso de drogas y mucho más.

Compila varios ensayos sobre mansplaining, machismo, discriminación y violencia de género. Creo que es una lectura obligada para todo varón, porque es muy fácil hacer o perpetuar estas cosas sin darse cuenta.
