A sci-fi book about first contact with aliens. The speeches in the are incredibly well written. The one thing i'm unsure if I liked was the very end of the fourth chapter.
The characters might've been basic, the plot twists not all that shocking. But the book still has a heart that I trust surely to bloom into something greater.
A great show of what their lives are like. Personal and sad, but great. The ending is good, but I would've liked a short epilogue, but that just might've been false to the story.
The slug guy is evil. This volume gets darker, better drawn, and more mysterious. The world is starting to take shape. Guts seemed even angrier here. We even get to see from another POV.
A slow mystery about who Mr. Hyde is and what he wants. The story often jumps every chapter, leading to some confusion. The ending was mixed, the death was great, but explained too much.
A strange book. From crab gods to lost cows. I think this book is well written and has every charm and each character has a good personality and own voice. The story might be weird, but it is a good weird.
The introduction to guts. It shows itself to have a larger story beyond what we've seen thus far. The drawing is awesome, and so far seems like it'll be a great series.
The writing was beautiful, the story disgusting. The character of Ballard made me react the most in my book-reading journey thus far. He doesn't deserve anything, but still, it made you feel for him.
A slow book that has its moments but loses you in segments that were badly written. The book felt like a start of the series but doesn't go anywhere as a singular experience.
