Took me half the book to really get into this story and its universe, but once I got hooked I couldn't let go. It can be sometimes a bit hard to follow and require your full attention but the reward is a stunning science-fiction universe and unique characters. I really like the way the story was articulated between fragments of the present then the past slowly rejoining. I'm really looking forward to the second volume of this trilogy!
