Definitely not the typical book I read, but definitely a very interesting and informing. Loved to see Bisexuality history in an entire book and learning lots about myself too. Not the kind of book you binge in a week, but would recommend to anyone who wants to know more LGBTQ+ history.

What A amazing book! from the lavish descriptions to the Chinese Mythology elements packed in the book, there is really a lot too love here. The writing really kept me engaged and loved the different POVs that we got
in the book. The only reason it's not a full five stars is that I wish the ending was longer! The ending was definitely the best part and I can't believe it was only a couple of chapters! Anyways, read this book if you love Romeo and Juliette, Stars, and some rebellious kids.

The Moonstone girls is about two gay siblings in the 1960 trying to overcome the challenges that come with being queer. the representation in this book felt genuine and was done very well. it was a lot darker than I thought it would be, so make you know that before reading this, but I highly recommend you do. The only thing that I thought could be better was the pacing. 60% of this book is Tracy trying to get to Alaska, which isn't terrible but I felt you spend way too long actually getting to the heart of the story. Overall, this book gets 4 stars and I recommend you read.

i thought i would enjoy this book, but i was mostly just bored and disappointed. i think i would have liked it more if i didn't read tons of fantasy books, this book just doesn't compare to others i've read
the only thing i liked about it was that the main character (and author) have cerebral palsy, and i liked how that was included in the story. definitely read the authors note if you ever pick this up
rather than that everything else felt very ok, i actually enjoyed the 100 pages tho those were exiting
