Great storyline
I love a bit of conspiracy in my romance and really like where this series seems to be going! My only complaints are that the dialogue was a bit awkward at times and the way some aspects of the story were rehashed made me a bit impatient to get the story moving forward. The love and action scenes were spot on though and the overall story kept me intrigued. Looking forward to reading Slade's book next.

A few times a year, I'll find a book that challenges my world view. This time the challenge came in the form of this hot little number by Elizabeth Brown. In all honesty, I was a captive audience from the moment I read the plot description.
QUESTION: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A THIRTY-YEAR-OLD VIRGIN HIRES A SEX THERAPIST TO TAKE CARE OF HER “LITTLE PROBLEM”?
ANSWER: LOTS OF LAUGHS AND TONS OF HEAT. YOU'LL BE LEFT WANTING A DR. RYAN ANDREWS OF YOUR OWN.
“MISS?”
I CLOSED MY EYES. SERIOUSLY? I GLANCED DOWN AT MY DARK JEANS AND CARDIGAN. I THOUGHT MY OUTFIT WAS CUTE, BUT APPARENTLY I LOOKED LIKE A LIBRARIAN. I SIGHED INWARDLY AND RESOLVED TO GO SHOPPING, AS I STOOD UP AND TURNED AROUND.
“LOOK, I'M SORRY, BUT—” HOLY MOSES. IN ONE INSTANT MY EYES COLLIDED WITH DEEP BLUE POOLS AND I
DROPPED.
ALL.
MY.
BOOKS.
ALL OF THEM. RIGHT ONTO HIS FEET.
“SHIT—FUCK,” I MUTTERED, EMBARRASSED, AS I BENT DOWN TO GATHER THE PILE.
Every once in a while I crave stories that buck societal norms. This step-sibling erotic love story set in the 50s certainly fit the bill. While the Daddy and little girl role play isn't really my thing, there's a surprising amount of heart here to go along with it. I know some didn't love LuAnn as a heroine but I thought she was a great mix of innocence and sensuality. She's submissive but she's no doormat. I enjoyed the ways she challenges Brad throughout their story! In the end they have to deal with the troubling reality of what their family will think of them being together. I wanted a little more here but it was handled pretty well. Overall 3.5 stars!

Werewolves and Sems oh my!
Fun reading! It's safe to say I'm enjoying the series. I find that I like Eidolon and Wraith just a bit more than Shade, so I'm excited to get Wraith's story in the next book. No spoilers here but I will say that the overall storytelling and the way each story is sets the stage perfectly for the next is really top notch.
