Could not bring myself to finish this book.

Got tired that everybody dies... maybe I'll try the book again later.

Les choses se règlent un peu trop facilement par “magie” à mon goût à cause des dons.

The illustration are nicely done, but I don't like the story.

I know parenting was done differently in the past, but giving the punishment of not having dinner isn't related to the child's bad behavior. It is clear to me that the child would not have learned anything, except to think that his parents are mean. Also, giving a punishment and not doing it will not teach a child to be held responsible for his behavior. To love unconditionally does not mean to accept bad behavior.

I know very well that we don't always want to teach children lessons in books, but I see a counter-lesson in this one: ‘you can do what you want and no one is going to hold you accountable for your actions ‘.

Out of curiosity, I had my daughter read it without telling her my opinion and she answered me: ‘I don't like it, the boy is not nice to the dog'.

Didn't finish. I stopped at the first rape scene, when they have sex in the middle of the wood, because the poor woman was cold. She gets closer and touches the man chest, so he could not keep it in his pants... so he tells her something like: we do sex now or you froze only.

This the story of a nice sexy woman raping a prisoner. Then the nice sexy man (now free) rape the women for revenge. And... ... ... they fall is love! ... surely because they are confused and don't know how to communicate properly most of the time. The End.

+1 parce que les scènes de viol sont appelées comme tel, contrairement à d'autres romans du même genre. Par contre, il en a trop à mon goût. Je ne suis probablement pas le bon public.

L'intrigue de base et l'univers sont bien écrits. Par contre, je trouve que l'héroïne est tout de même très naïve d'avoir suivi une inconnue au milieu de nulle part. Sans modifier cette partie, l'auteur aurait pu indiquer qu'elles se parlaient depuis un moment quand elles s'entrainaient.

La première partie est assez complexe à lire. Ça pourrait également être simplifié, car il y a beaucoup de répétition.

La seconde partie est beaucoup plus intéressante.

Très bon livre ressource pour les ados qui se questionnent sur leur apparence.

J'avais un peu plus d'attente sur l'histoire à cause des commentaires que j'avais lus. C'est vraiment plus un livre informatif avec des exercices. Ce qui est très bien quand même! ;)
