Cover: I think it's Gwen and Jason.Love the fire pictured on the cover. The fire of Inero
Book:The sequel was way better than the first. It's a companion novel you could say but still book two in a series. From the point of view of the enemy!?. The Inero
Two borthers, twin brothers.
Gwen is taken from her loving family
Kat is happy to been taken away from here's
There lives intermingle. Some are strangers to each others. Some not. Are the Inero really the enemy or something darker ,crueler and evil??

Cover: I'm loving it. Yes it is not published by a big publisher and maye the cover is cover abusted out there, but this is exactly how I pictured Tai and Darien. On of my new beloved fictional couples
Book: I signed up for the tour of book two after i found i could read book 1. I took a leap of faith.I could have hated these books.Happy to have read it.

Cover: A pretty decent cover. Are those wings? I loved the red hue
Book:I was in the mood for an angel book thus requested it on netgalley.Sad it was disappointing. The religious undertones were not a problem , the characters were.
I always try to finish a book and finishing this one was grueling. The love triangle was annoying. I tried not to be a cynic while reading the reading romance and ended up laughing.[ i'm rarely cynical] I tried to like it but sadly no success.
The MC is supposed to be an rocking kick butting heroine but was in fact one the whiny bunch. Which boy am i going to choose, which “brother”.
Yeah falling in love is forbbiden an can is dangerous for there souls . Gimme a break. I do have to say the youngest “brother” is the best of the bunch and the funniest.Really he is a Hoot.
The prologue was freaking amasing , exiting. A chase. Nikki is being chased by hell hounds. And then the “brothers” appear . The halflings. WHY,WHY,WHY could the rest not exceed the prologue. The rest felt like reading a textbook, the prologue excluded.Flat and boring
A couple of people loved.Sad i did not. I read raving reviews. If you are interested.Give it a try.Maybe you are the one that will love it.

Cover:One of my Love at First sightcovers.Crumbled socity and it's perfectly pictured. A teenage girl and a boy on a hill and what looks like a wartorn Chicago is in sight down below.
Book:The cover drew[but you all know that right now ^-^]since i saw it last year early august.I was pinning to read was so happy to see there were arc giveaways but 99% of those only USA allowed so i took matters into my own hands and emailed a review request to Tor publishing and fingers crossed of course. So happy they aproved[ a e-arc is still an arc]It was worth the trouble[ asking and wishing]
Wartorn America. Everything changed.Crumbled cities, broken down houses and broken lives. The bill of rights are condemned and the moral statues are declared.Say adieu to freewill.
‘Everything is stark and dark right now but things will be OK , don't know when but it's gonna be OK, there's a silver lining out there'.

Cover:It's a decent one.Like the gold cover.Bummer that was the only likable thing for me.
Book:It never was on my wishlist.I got a hint from Booksake[check them out, there awesome book reviewers] that it was a free read at Harpercollins.com. Not a complete disappointment for me. I still wanted to know what Liesl and Po would encounter on their travels.I never bash an author. This review includes my honest opinions.
This middle grade has gotten a lot of hype and was not that interested. It was a free read.Nothing to loose.Liesl and po is sad and dreary read. That was not a problem for me
But the bland writing and worldbuilding and characters were the reason for the two star rating. I felt no connection to the characters except bundle a cat-dog like shadow creature and it does not even talk or a lot of ‘‘screen time'‘
from the official website. i do have to say great art for a middle grade
Liesl and Po was not for me and I'm now less likely to read deleruim and pandemonium.Don't let me deter you to read liesl and po.You may love it

Cover: Defenitely a cover-love of mine. Love underwater covers. I think it depicts a scene from the book. A disaster, a mystery will come to light.
Book: Honestly I only requested in on netgalley because of the cover[^_^]. Read my first Harlequin teen title not long ago so when not give this a shot. Totally worth my 8 hours reading this, in one setting.

Cover: It's a Ok-ish cover. It screams ‘FIERCE'. Somewhat how i imagined Trace.
Book:When i saw tour stops were needed i immediately replied “I'm in” or something in that context.Glad i got the chance to read it.
Kira,a broken woman a broken life, standing and jumping of a bridge.Thinking “Let me die”. She's rescued by a mysterious being.Awoken at the hospital! How? A strangly wonderful man appears in dreams, in her life.
I have to say this 80% and up{guessing here] charming and sweet romance however it's a Mature read and not recommend to younger readers. Some scenes tho limited are steamy ahem ahem scenes.
Kira, a previous mother can handle herself and does not let people in after what happened.
Trace, a raven-black haired[^_^] male specimen and lost someone or more as well.Does not after what happened until he meets her. LOVed that he was protective and caring towards his loved ones. NOT effeminate at all. catch my drift
Both leading roles, Kira and Trace have painful pasts and lost love ones. They found strength in each other. huge thumbs up (^-^)b I liked that Kira and Trace grew and fell in love.
The romance was lovable and sweet and the “doing” it scenes were interesting Haha
Other characters
Mikal, Mike for short was a great brother, Trance's younger brother. A srong family bond.
The “villain”?! was interesting hoping to see more of him.
The ending was sweet and round up pretty well. It could perfectly well be a standalone. Glad it isn't. I did not have high expectations going into this but glad i did. Hoping to read more soon

Cover:One of the pretties out there.Thank goodness no girl in dress one.A bit symbolic if you ask me.A dainty fragile life[the butterfly] above a rough bizarre ruthless dangerous earth has become.
Book: I requested This one because of its cover[I the color scheme.]It was good but not a complete hit for me.

Cover:I really like this one.The cover i mean. Its simplicity and eye catching appeal drew me in.I like collage like covers. It seems like warmth is spreading.
Book: It was in my galley grab and i looked it it up. A YA debut so I thought'‘cool i'm so reading this for my DAC of 2012'' which is hosted by Kristi @ the story siren
First I have to say I know writing is hard work “cough”cough”my writing sucks“cough so far. Practice means perfect.Second I do not bash authors and only share my feelings in a polite and mannerly fashion.
The title is misleading! It's not a dystopian or apocalyptic but rather a contemp. I've started to love contemp. But EYNTSTA[acronym for Everything...need..apocalypse] was rather disappointing for me. But he that's me, i read gr8 reviews on goodreads, amazon and blogs. People differ.
It has religious/christian undertones. No biggie for me at all. But it was boring and long. I finished it.^_^. The characters did nothing for me; meaning i did not get to know them like ‘‘real people''. Was a tad preachy ; that was a bit iffy i have to say.
I did not like the characters in EYNTSTA except Rebecca, the romantic interest.Who was likable.
Philip our protagonist. I did not like him at all. He acted like a real like teenage dude, a real life jerk. He was annoying at times.
And his friends; Mat and Asher. Did not know why they were buddies. They scold and humiliate each other. My dude friends hit each other till their fists turn red.[hurts] but not that.
The writing was likable and this is told in 1st person narrative.
My thoughts
Cover: A really likeable cover. The raven give it a ominous, something is lurking feel. I know don???t judge a book by its cover and have to say yes the Dude angel and raven got my attention.
Book: The book tour signup was posted on YA Bound. I immediately signed up because On a dark wing was on my wish list and for me as an Int books are hard to come by. This is a 4 stars review. I think I just lucky reading great and good books after each other
A horrible accident happened a few years ago. Abby survived, her mom didn???t. She got ??????lucky??????. And Death does not forget
Abby, our leading lady was not appreciate to her dad and Tanner, her best friend. Probably cause of the accident. I did not feel for her but after a while you feel her honesty and such and started to like her.
Tanner Lange, is our co protagonist and best friend a computer genius and in a wheelchair. But a hot nerd. I???ve to say I???m pretty good looking myself ha ha [ego boast lol]. I really really really really really[ ok enough really???s lol] liked him and you can ??????taste and feel?????? his love and friendship towards Abby in the ???air??????
Nate is a very important character and co narrator. A popular and boy next door type. He was ok , I did not get to feel his ??????him?????? , his ??????soul???[pretty philosophical right, lol] although loved his interaction with his little sister zoey . A great big brother.
And Death, that???s his name ; nothing less or more. I felt a little pity , I said a little pity c???mon he???s death. His loneliness and how he sees the us. But still devilish[pun intended] cruel and persistent.
This book was in 3th person and 3 pov???s ; Abby, Tanner and Nate. Liked all of their voices especially Tanner. I liked his chapters the most. There were emotional scenes but did not feel at times and liking Abby at first decreased the rating. This is a paranormal Young adult with a touch, a dazzle of contemporary. Liked the raven after each chapters pictured.
There is love, a lot. Parental[Yay , the parents are present , sisterly- brotherly and friendship and of course romance. There???s infatuation but that???s a other thing. Love the relationship of Abby and her dad after it strengthened. And romance with the person you don???t expect. I found the perfect song
I???m glad I had this experience and would love to read her other books.
Thank you Netgalley and Harlequin Teen for approving my request. And YA bound for letting my partake in booktour. This an 100% honest review
My thoughts
Cover: This cover is one of my favorites, the color scheme. The fog in the upper right corner and Peter and Katy coming down the stairs, dunno put I think it depicts a scene.
Book: I saw this earlier in the year , added it to read and forgot totally about it. In a Simon Shuster galley grab [what???s that ?info galley grab] it felt familiar . Downloaded and forgot it again. Time past and there were only 12 hours left to read it, I challenged myself and read it nonstop with small breaks in 10 hours. Proud of myself , don???t get worried I???m in my winter break now. School work has not been affected.
Katherine Jessivar gets dumped at a boarding school in Whitfield, Massachusetts by her father, Harrison Jessivar, and his new girlfriend. . To burden her more every kid at her new school hates her. Because she???s an Ainsworth. Takes in the start of the school year.
Katy felt flat for me bu after the 200 mark started to care a bit by bit. At the moment when she admitted her real name I really liked her.
Peter is tortured, I can???t spoil but what a tortured boy he was, his heritage was a contributor. He was not the swooniest male protagonist, somewhat charming but liked him. I did not know why there were attracted to each other after disliking each other for a while there in love; a minor insta- love. I said a minor. There was love and less lust, said less. That does not mean not existed. They almost di??????
Heck I had them around me for 1 to 400 pages, they grow on you. That was less positive for me.
There were no real parental figures present. They tried their best to be that but a couple characters came close. Her dad, he himself detaches from her emotionally but progressed but not enough for me.
Whitfield is strange and weird, the people seem olden time like and frequently mysterious fog appears in the meadow. This is a paranormal Young Adult. It???s about witches not harry potter's secret world . Just a normal town where a large part is descended from the them. I liked the world building. Everything is nature based. Everywhere there???s magic they reminded me a lot of druids
The chapters look like a old book and are in time slots in coordination with wiccan holidays. A thing I disliked was the 200 pages of not a lot of action Because It took 200 pages before the real peril appeared. Named the Darkness, a entity not to be fooled with. I almost quit two times but now looking back for me at least those 200 pages were needed. Back-story, anecdotes type things, getting two no more about the characters.
There???s turmoil between families, in her family and mistrust. I liked how Miss Cochran did that. The digging and bringing secrets to light of her mom???s life, the town and prominent ancestors of Whitfield that where linked back Katy.
The Darkness was a great bad ‘‘guy''.
I have to say there are mixed review mine is more on the positive side It was pretty decent . I liked it and glad I had this experience. Have this left t say “Magic lies within”
My thoughts
Cover: Like the cover a lot. Llona ???s ability is shown. I love when publishers do that. But it is not how I imagined her though.
Book: This my 2nd book from cederfort I???ve read. I got to say there pretty dam good.[sorry 4 the curse word]. My 1st booktour was a success . I reviewed Seers. The review linky. I saw it on netgalley . I was intrigued . I made a freaking great decision.
Llona Reese, our leading lady. 17 yrs [if I remember correctly. Human but something special in side of her. She is a Aura, female individual who can bend manipulate lights in her veins, her dna ,her being . Aura???s are supposed to be gentle and comforting. Llona is that but more she is active, not a pushover and tries to be brave
The book begins at the start of her senior year at High Land High.
There she meets Christian Knight a new athlete at the school, our leading a male, friend and romantic interest. Y???all probably thinking clich??, red alert, red alert ,insta love!! Well you???re wrong. Yes there is romance but no insta love. Love emerges steadily and steadily in the book, their relationship.
Christian loves sport, but is not consumed by it and not a jerk. He ???s kind, charming, a bit overprotective at times but you will soon learn why. I think girls need a real fictional male in their life. No effeminate edwardy boy.
Other characters
May, Matt and Adam are great friends and 2nd characters. You would be lucky to have such friends in real life
Yes. The parental figures were present. Jake Reece her 26 yr old uncle was a example. He was fun, a game freak/enthusiast and a role model.
Other than aura???s there where
Guardians: protectors of Aura???s. Male humans not as vulnerable as normal males.
Vykens: evil shadowy flesh like creatures, dark pools of eyes. 100% evil. They reminded me of local lore; Asemas, shadowy being with fiery burning eyes who drink blood like vamps do.
This is a 1st person narrative .Llona pov. The beginning was a bit slow, the first 50 pages I rated it almost a 4 at that point. But then page 194,195 arrived and it passed the 4, 45. The ending gave it a boast towards a 5 star rating. My love is different for this book , not like mythos academy or rapture but still love.
I am eagerly awaiting book 2. Man I have to wait till 2013.
Thank you netgalley and cedarfort in accepting my review request. This is a 100 % honest review
sorry if i offended any twi fan
My thoughts
Cover: Love the flames and background. That???s how I imagined Samael. He looks fierce and concentrated. Don't mess with him ,lol.Is it just me but those red eyes are blazingly hawt.
Book: I saw a book ad on a blog I frequently visit. I immediately added it to my wishlist on goodreads [reshelved it and book 2 is currently on my wishlist] The author asked me to review?????? Rapture??????. My reply was yes, yes yea. Lol. When it finally arrived from New Zealand. I read in two days flat. Monday and was done the next day amidst my midterms. Not a smart thing I know. But I could not put it down
The rapture has happened, the tribulation has begun. And we meet Sam, short for Samael, our leading male and taken in , adopted at a early age. He is a half-demon ,18 years old, alabaster skin and living in the mids of a devoted catholic Japanese sensei and daughter,Aimi [Hikari???s daughter]
You immediately start to feel affection towards Sam and to care for him and taste his sorrow and loneliness at times. His family is gone, gone with the rapture and he is left behind to defend the innocence left behind. And those who need to protected are cautious of him.Honestly I would be to ,he is a half demon but still one for Pete???s sake
In Ya parental figures are almost not in the picture. But in the moments that Hikari is there is a model father figure. A REAL parent.
Love appearsin Rapture, between friends, parental love and little bits and pieces of romantic love between him and Aimi. But the latter is not the main plot in the book. I like that however maybe in book 2.
Every chapter begins with a bible verse. It looks somewhat religious but not preachy at the same time. The use of bible verses is new to me.It is told in 3th person perspective and told in time slots, before the rapture, after it and the present. And it???s not jarring at all or confusing. It all fits perfectly. I read it at free periods, while doing a doo doo on the toilet, yes even there basically everywhere I could. Not the bathroom, ha ha.
Not a single scene felt like a drag or filler. WOW, the fighting scenes felt fresh and not repetitive at all. The monsters are??? you guessed it's demons. I???m no expert but I lke to add Phil did his research. The plot twist, the betrayal , I honestly did not think that person who???d be the betrayer . The bad guy was a Baddie, lol.
I encourage everyone to get this one and read it. He all you???re in luck a blogging comrade has got Phil for a interview and giveaway on her blog Realm of fiction
Eagerly awaiting book two called Tribulation of the trilogy and wishing Phil all the best with his family, baby son and his writing goals
Thanks Philip for this review copy and this is 100 % honest review
My thoughts
Cover: Eve has a great cover .The golden gate bridge looks very warn out. The cover depicts a scene from Eve. I like it when publishers do that. My only complaint is that her arms look like doll arms.
Book: I won this paperback ARC at a giveaway in July/early august .Received it after 2 months and began reading immediately.
It???s 2015. A mother is writing a letter and end???s it with the words I love you, I love you, I love you. This prologue is one of my favorites. It is 2032. 16 years later. Eve is in 12th year on the School and graduating soon. The evening of the graduation she discovers a sinister secret and everything she has known and has been told is a lie! Someone finds out she knows the secret and orders her to flee.
Eve our leading lady, has good traits but she is so NA??VE, reminds me of Ariel. But she losses her naivety trough out the book. She is persistent, does not give up and becomes brave. What I also admire that the was thought has a some truth to it , some men treat girls/woman without respect and are lusting over them and there are other specimen of the male side of humanity who are totally different ; caring ,kind ,sweet, trustworthy and helpful. And that she starts to know the difference.
Caleb our leading male and love interest has dreadlocks and he reminds me of teenage muscular Disney Tarzan lookalike without the vines. He is one of the vey YA boys who love reading and books. The 1st I???ve encountered the other than Sam [the wolves of mercy falls trilogy]. Joyous reads and I made a joke about it on twitter. You get to see in the little ways he feels for eve and falls for her.
Their romance/love is not a insta-love in my opinion. I have read some reviews, they disagree with me. I respect their opinion but this mine. I found the perfect song for Caleb and Eve and fits with a specific scene on the author???s blog. Throughout the book I???ve rooted for them.
the perfect song
The world building is decent but a bit lacking. However I love she has a way with words. The lack of kept it from a 5 star rating but loved the characters. Why why such a bittersweet ending Eagerly awaiting book two, titled Once. Hope I win a copy[ARC or finished copy] or gifted one.~~~fingers crossed~~`wink, wink~~

My thoughts
Cover: A simply dark cover in my opinion. Because of it simplicity it catches your attention. Not girl ???ified. No bare chest model. Like those but their overdone. It catches your attention becuase of the the blood smears on his cheek. I ask myself what happened when I see that.
Book: When I saw it on Goodreads in August and read the synopsis I immediately added it to my wishlist and it is still there. I received a e- ARC. When I got a chance to review it after being declined a multiple number of times on Net Galley, I did not let this opportunity pass me by.
The book begins where Archer, our leading male, forces a victim to commit suicide. I started this and I thought it was like a teenage Dexter. I love that show but can???t feel compassion for Dex. In archer???s case I could. He is a soul but throughout the book I felt compassion and began to care for this character. Ok he is a serial killer, which is not good. In his mind killing the teenagers that hurt Vivian, his best friend, will undo the hurt that they put her through.
I felt compassion for Viv. I felt sorry for the crappy relationships and the poor picking of boyfriends. She is always choosing jerks and lowlifes that hurt her in the end emotionally and as a result she cries and finds support in Archer, her best friend.
But everything changes when Evan comes in to their lives. Archer first meets Evan on the college campus when he asks for directions to the administration building. He does not know what???s so alluring about him, but he makes him feel calm. They spend more and more time together and Archer starts to feel for Evan and Evan for Archer. Archer does not want to kill anymore.
But little Miss Vivian (she is not little lol, a college kid)starts to notice things and sees her Viv/Archer time dwindling. The person both Archer and myself [to me characters are real in alternative universe] thought she was, turns out to be an illusion. My compassion plummeted to ground zero.
In my opinion the baddest, most manipulative protagonist of the year belongs to her. She is the driving force of the novel.
This is one of darkest, emotional YA releases of the year. This book is a huge thriller especially near the end. Any one not comfortable with older dark YA or new adult, male-male love and some graphic scenes it may not be for you. Can???t wait what Kelly thinks up next.
my thoughts
cover: it is not my all time favorite. but it has appeal.
book: found it in my monthly galley grab. looked it up on goodreads. the synopsis looked interesting.
we get thrown in a hero awarding ceremony. Gideon Thrall is being awarded ,our non romantic leading male[that's new] and suddenly runs away. Yep that's the beginning
Tessa is in awe of him, his heroism. But secrets of the war, of him come to light and things change. with the result that they see everything and each other different. Tessa & Gideon meet Dekaterina, short for Dek along the way, the last of the trio.
this is an action packed for a relatively short dystopian
the actual bad guy is actually not a human or bad! what a surprise for me at least. It was the brains. I kinda liked ‘it' very much.
Dek, Tessa and Gideon transitioned from almost strangers to basically best friends. i'd say Gideon had the most character development.
Tessa acted stupid and moody at times. she's no sue ann , heck no but no katniss either.the other thing it was so short.
I've enjoyed my very first dystopian novel. just the tip of the iceberg. I bet there are better books out there, more thought provoking. this was pretty decent. looking forward to reading the creme DE la creme of the dystopian genre. signing out.lol
my thoughts
cover : i love the cover. think its pretty unique. i like how the full moon is in the background and Cat's silhouette in front of it [i have a thing for redheads/gingers fictional and non fictional]the cover depicts a scene of the book i think.also like the font and the placement of the title.
book: i was happy when i got a email in which it was announced that i won it at a booktour.after 2 months of shipping it arrived
we get thrown in the prologue. its in a medieval setting and has very Gothic feel to it.
the story really begins at the start of a new school year. strange occurrences and incidents are taking place in astoria. secrets are being kept by loved ones{ cat's]
the story felt very mysterious. there's a unknown danger. we don't know what a CHILDE is. this book had snared me from page 1 till the end.
the romance between cat and ryan beckford [our romantic intrest and a paranormal being i think he's a vampire don't really know what he is. was the romance was enjoyable. a love between to not really humans. this is completely fre from insta-love and love triangles. the romance is not the main focus more the mystery, solving and finding out. i would not say that the ‘‘sparks n butterflies'' were on the backburner more likely the medium burner[made that up] the romance begins to appear in the middle towards the end. i found the perfect song for them at least in my opinion.
Is there a sue ann in this novel? NO there is not .Cat is snarky, caring for her friends and family and a good friend.
loved julie, matt and amanda ; they felt real. friends for life.
cat and taylor behaved liked siblings should be. getting on each others nerves a bit. lol
there are real parents and parental figures present. a couple of ya books miss those.
What the heck is a Childe? you get to know nearly at the end of it.
Really want to know what a Childe is?? ok its a ..... HA fooled you won't tell. read and check out for yourself.
if you're looking for mystery, finding things out, paranormal, romance that's not irritating. Try The Childe. hope you'll like it as well.
My thoughts
Cover: like the newly American better than the old nostalgic original version... [Correction the publication of 2003 by a imprint of lemiscaat i http://www.lemniscaat.nl/ s my favorite
Book: This was one of the very first books I read when I was younger. Can you believe it???s almost 40 year old and published again this year in America. When I saw it on netgalley I had to request it , I had a rush of nostalgia.I Loved it in the past. My native tongue is Dutch by the way. Iwondered if I felt the same after 10 years later and in English. It???s a pretty decent translation and my growing up resulted in a 4 star rating.
Rudolf Hefting, Dolf for short, our leading male from Holland. Who is smart, brave, courageous teenager and stand???s his ground which gets him in trouble in the 12th century.
When you begin to read the this novel, we find Dolf in the laboratory of the family friends , two loony ish professors after asking and persisting his parents to see the newly developed time machine. He persisted again while he was time with the Profs that he could be more useful than chimps, which they used for experiments.
Dolf is now in the 12 century france or so he thinks , but rather in germany. And meets a crusade formed completely by children ranging from the age of 4 to 14, 15, 16 to free Jerusalem from the Arabs.
He misses his ??????ride back?????? to the present and is stuck in the 12th century. I would have panicked but he is calm and collected. And he takes part of the crusade.
Some secrets are being hidden , lies are being told in the whole [massa massa, local tongue, sranang tongo] congregation of the child crusade.
Liked Dolf interaction with the 12th era folk, everything is different for this 20th century teen. He is very skeptic of this religious area, Europe of that time period. This has no doubt Christian/religious influences but it???s not preachy. So not religious folk can enjoy it!! I hope
There???s no minor lead or secondary character I did not like.
Maria a 11 year old taking part in the crusade is from the beginning with Dolf and befriends him and sees her like a little sister.
Leonardo Fibonacci, 15, 16 or 17 I think is very first friend Dolf befriends
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ROMANCE IN THIS BOOK. SO BOYS BE NOT AFRAID TO READ A 300 PLUS PAGE NOVEL.lol
After the big reveal, the secrets have come to light. It dragged on a bit let say 40 ish pages but that???s a short amount of page space and quickly begins to exite again when Dolf finds a way to go home, to the present. Will say this it was emotional for Dolf to leave his friends behind after let say 3 to 4 months with them. Roro signing out.
