I just found this book really annoying to be honest. B was so cringey, especially with it being on first person and having to hear her internal dialogue. Definitely a stereotypical millennial. I wanted to branch out from my usual horror/thriller/mysteries and ready a fun romance but maybe that was a mistake lol.
I absolutely loved this book. TJR is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to read more of her books. I definitely cried at the end. I loved the way this book was organized and how it was all set within 24 hours, it was unique and fun to read. I also love how her books are standalone but set in the same universe so characters from other books are mentioned.
I was so intrigued by this book and super excited to read it. But honestly it was so slow and hard for me to get into, until the end of part 4. The ending and plot twist I thought was really good and unexpected. If it wasn't so incredibly slow for the majority of the book, I would have given it 5 stars.
This book was so good! I will definitely read more Gillian Flynn. I loved how each chapter changed from present to the day of the murder. And towards the end the chapters were really leaving me on my toes. Her descriptions of people and scenes were amazing and made me feel like I was living the story, which is what a good book should do!
This book was really good! I love a good Agatha Christie and this was a modern take on that. I saw some people say they guessed the twists but maybe I'm just naive and didn't at all, so it was a total surprise for me. I love that each chapter is from a different person's perspective so you really get to see how everyone truly feels about each other and makes it hard to guess who was killed and who was the killer.
