Very disturbing.

Delightful! I look forward to reading it again in a year or so, so i can fall in love with it all over again

Bridget Jones is perfection!

Riotously funny and unique.

Finally Bella contributes more then whining and getting into trouble and has her own strength. Actually quite enjoyed this one.

A great summer read

A little disappointed. I expected more, probably due to the hype.

This could be my favourite novel of all time - and that's a big call!

Completely bizarre! I found the prose forced and there were so many holes in the plot it seemed like a cheese grater. Am I missing something?

I was very disappointed with this book. I absolutely loved “100 Years of Solitude” and so maybe expected a little too much from it. I didn't feel a connection to any of the characters. Perhaps it requires a second reading in a year or two.

I really enjoyed this book, although at times it was incredibly gruesome and sad. Illustrates the power of education and the importance of community.

A beautifully written story about lost oppotunities in love - how a rash decision can lead to a lifetime of regret.

Not the best Holocaust book I have read, but poignant nonetheless.

Bleh! I am an avid reader and have traveled extensively, but this book failed to interest me in both arenas.

I love Edinburgh and the return of Jackson Brodie pulled me in. I enjoyed the Dickensian way it ‘all comes together in the end', however Case Histories remains my favourite Atkinson novel thus far.

Different but forgetable

Jackson Brodie remains one of the most memorable detectives I have encountered. An intriguing literary mystery that stays with you long after the final page closes.

The Odyssey told from a different perspective. Very interesting and enjoyable. I was lucky enough to attend a reading in London by Atwood herself. She is just as mesmerizing as her stories.

Very different narrator and interesting perspective

I am not usually a huge fan of fantasy novels, but I had to make an exception for Tolkien.

Interfering Emma means well, but can be slightly annoying. Still I applaud her unshakable belief in love and the “perfect match.”

Not my favourite Dickens novel (that would be Tale of Two Cities), but I do love how ‘it all comes together in the end'. Fagin and Dodger are such a memorable characters, Oliver was a bit of a drip though.
