Nu stiu de unde sa incep. [b:Prințul nemilos 39685798 Prințul nemilos (Făpturile Văzduhului, #1) Holly Black https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1522434206l/39685798.SX50.jpg 45959123] m-a cam dezamafit.
Sincer, m-a cam dezamagit.
“I'll love you forever. Even when I shouldn't.” - I never knew two sentences will make me cry until I read this one in the book.
First, I want to say that this book is underrated and deserves more appreciation.
I LOVED IT! It's a must-read.
As soon as I started to read it, I fell in love with the story and with the characters. Auburn and Owen's story was a rollercoaster. I was so sad when I finished it, I didn't want it to end.
The idea of mixing art with people's confessions is amazing. I went through a lot of emotions while reading this. I went from curiosity to anger, to happiness. And I cried A LOT!! Especially at the end when I found out how did Owen met Auburn in the past and how Auburn and Adam helped Owen to find his purpose in life.
If I could reread this book, without knowing the story, I would do it thousands of times.
As a huge fan of winx club, I didn't even want to watch the series when I heard they're making a live action of the winx and they're excluding Flora and Tecna. But then, I said why not to give it a chance. I watched the first episode and I kinda liked it so I continued. At the end of the first season, I loved it even though the original winx club will always be in my heart.
I didn't know there's a book so when I found out there's also a book after the series, I had to get it. When I started reading it I didn't have big expectations. But then, I was impressed by the fact that it really matches the series, not like other books. This is the first thing that I liked at the book. Whenever I was reading, I couldn't put the book down. To be honest, I thought it will not be as good as a series. As in any book, of course there are parts that I didn't like at all. The part that I didn't like was the same with the part I didn't like in the series and in the original Winx Club. Bloom is still too overrated. I was hoping that the other characters will get a little appreciation too.
Overall, I rated it 4/5 because it was really nice and I can't wait to see if there will be a second book.
I picked up this book a few years ago and DNF-ed it within 50 pages (don't ask me why, I can't remember). I dediced to give it a second chance (I never did this to a book) and i have to say, it DID NOT disappoint and raised my rating from a 2 stars to a 4 stars (would be 5 if it wasn't for Annie's death who was definitely not needed).
Anyways, I was surprised to see Will, Kai and Michael appearing and finding out Misha and Will are related was wholesome. I love a good cross-over!!
There were some chapters when this book got me mad and I just wanted to throw it. Up to a point, it really prooves than being more-than-friends changes dynamics forever. I did feel like there were some plot holes, but not major ones.
Speaking about the spice, it was a little too gross for me and I certainly did not feel the need for that specific scene. But overall, I really enjoyed this book and I am so glad I gave it a second chance!!
Yesterday I finished this book and I loved it. I love Colleen and the way she's playing with our hearts.
The story is definitely amazing and at some point, it broke my heart but then fixed it again. The main character is Beyah, a girl that has just finished high school and has a drug addicted mom and her dad lives in Texas with her wife. One day, she finds her mother dead and then calls her father and tells him she wants to visit him for a few weeks but without saying the reason. They both meet at the airport and when they arrive to her dad's house on a beach, Beyah meets her step mother Alana, her step sister Sara with her boyfriend Marcos. She also meets Samson, a boy that lives on that beach. Both Beyah and Samson have heartbreaking backstories that made me cry like crazy. But this fact makes them to get closer and their story may seem just a summer love but it's more than that and I'll let you discover it.
The book is heartbreaking but it's wonderful and it will make you cry same as most of Colleen's books but she knows how to fix the heartbreak and this is why we love her so much.
The characters are well built, every single one has a detailed personality and the setting is very well described. Even tho the book breaks your heart, it has a happy ending. I rated it 4 stars because it doesn't say more about Beyah's or Samson's future but book is definitely a must read!
