Audiobook was so good. I didn't realise it was the same narrator for both characters till the end.
The story was nice. The character names were horrendous! I enjoyed this a lot till I stopped listening due to no fault of the book itself.

Stop overwatering the jade plant! This is the therapy volume (finally)! Unhinged Hermes my beloved. Gooo Psyche wohooo!

Cool disability rep! And we gained a secret weapon (hopefully) to beat Odium's ass with. I'm reading this out of sequence having already read rhythm of war.

Hello to burnt out software engineers and other office workers!

This book hit the right spot at the right time. I loved all the characters. Didn't think it would be a found family book(shop) but it was so nice how everyone had things they were dealing with but still trying their best every day. Very human.

The translation was very good and didn't feel weird or clipped like some other older translations I've read. The book to read if you want to run away and open a bookshop because that's exactly what happened in this.

10/10 no notes. More Hadrian and Royce are always a joy to read.
Fav part was Royce taking care of Hadrian when he got injured and continuing to bicker thinking Hadrian will blame him and Hadrian just going, “It's okay, Royce!”

This was so hard to read.

3.5 stars! Liked the polish folklore aspect of it. Wish someone had told me there was a pronunciation guide at the end of the book (why not at the start), so I wouldn't have butchered all the names in my head.

It was nice, not mind blowing. The pretty UK hardcover was the reason for getting this. Would love to see what more the author writes.

Dinosaur

This book almost pulled ‘The Hero of Ages' at me. I was screaming till I wasn't. Thank youuuuuu for not making me read the ending in a haze of tears!!! Anyway, this is the best book I've read in a while. The writing style, the story, the narrative style, the characters, they were all amazing. It's a bit confusing in the beginning but it pays off tenfold if you stick with it. The tortoise

My first audiobook in months?! This was so engaging from the beginning, considering it starts with books and a library (and a talking plant)! It was cosy as advertised, and warm and fuzzy. Found family FTW! Would definitely recommend this as a light-hearted read with fantasy elements and good neighbours.

Finally done! This was sooo goooood. Surprised at all the bad reviews I keep seeing. The ending blew my mind.

This was pretty darn good. I don't know what is up with the bad reviews I keep seeing for this book. It had way more heart, intrigue and feelings than that stupid five broken blades book that everyone keeps waxing poetics about but is just filled with horny teenagers. Anyway, not to get sidetracked, Luiza was such a bad ass. Loved how everyone once in a while, the callused hands were brought up and played a role in the story.

I also saw someone describe Santangel as an old man and just

3.5 ⭐ The audiobook production was amazing!! Always love a full cast by recorded books!
The story is good, but my God horny thoughts. This was Fourth Wing minus dragons minus actual badly written sex scenes (phew).

I can't spell anyone's names but my favourites were Aeri and Royo! They were the most interesting. Sora too. Everybody else could jump off a cliff and I wouldn't care a bit

Trippy

Good collection of short stories. This one from the POV of a sentient ship (named Asha, way to go!!!) carrying humanity to a distant as of yet unfound planet. This one made me think back when teenage me used to ask the age old question of what becomes of us when our sun dies? I liked this are a LOT! The ending though oooohhh!

Cool Concept

Amazing concept, wtf ending

Pretty good. I loved that there were stories for all age groups. The last one was a bit slow because I haven't experienced that yet. The first four, especially the first one about jobs and cooking for yourself were lovely.

Reread 02-Nov-2025: Rating upped to 5 ⭐

Good good good!
I jumped at the audiobook when I saw it had 3 narrators! For the 3 characters! There were so many Slavic folklore elements in it. It was easy to guess what Dymitr wanted from a certain someone, but the way it played out was so cool. The bonus

What would you do if you were invisible?

Oh God I finally finished this. The only saving grace of this book was the sprinkling of Jude and Cardan being murderous together every few chapters. I could not, for the love of God, come to care for Oak or Wren in this. And I liked the first book but thissss?!? It was soooo convoluted for 200 pages and then took off in the last part.
Please at this point just give me another Jude and Cardan book!

3.5 stars
It was okay. I'm just trying out more books by the author. The characters were good but oh God the plot

Loved this volume. Fucking finally!!! Thank you!!!

4.5 stars!
This was very good. The ending broke me. But throughout the whole book I was so happy that Victor was ace. And that's it. No long ass discussions, no nothing, no changing his mind.
Rambo reminded me of Chauncey from Cerulean Sea ✨ Nurse Ratched was sooo cool

Hate read with bestie

4.5 stars! Loved this!

I didn't know this had two separate stories and was thrown off so bad when the second one started. Also, there's meaning lost in translation and some stuff didn't come across properly and made me think it probably sounded more profound in Japanese.

Super fun! I'm so glad I gave this author another try.
Consent is sexy! Especially when that consent is asked for before even touching/holding hands with someone. I loved how the characters were so aware of their and each other's boundaries and never crossed it.
My favourite was the cat
