This was a bit of a struggle for me to connect to the characters and the plot. So maybe I will try this again another time.
Just wasn't feeling it.
Christina and Chance quickly became two of my favorite characters that I have read. I loved their personalities and how they were both working to rekindle their relationship.
I am a married Millenial and I can definitely say that it takes work to keep your marriage alive and these two worked to do just that! I loved their millennial humor and how much I could relate to them!
I loved seeing their relationship evolve throughout the book as it continued!
I'm riding the struggle to read bus.
This is the second time I have tried to read this and it was an epic fail.
I have tried to get through this and it was so hard. Because it was hard to tell what was happening and when. There were way too many times that I felt like I was completely lost and confused.
10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND
I have been trying so hard to really get into this but I am having no luck. I don't believe in finishing just to finish. If I'm not enjoying it then it's not worth my time.

I am a huge lover of Aimees books. With that said this one wasn't for me. Being on the opposite side of things and being involved leaves a bad taste in my mouth and mind when it comes to hiding a child from the parent. I tried my absolute best to not be biased and get my feelings all involved. I failed gloriously. This is just a subject I can't not have immense feelings about.
Two wrongs don't make a right, and it's not all about the parents and their feelings. When children are involved it's no longer about them in such a massive way that this book conveys.
I received a complimentary copy via the author and Booksprout. All opinions are my own, honest and voluntary.
I struggled to get to 39% more than I would have liked. If there would have been a change in circumstances between our main characters I think this could have went a little more smoothly. With both being a bit difficult and forthcoming with each other it makes it harder for me to want to continue reading. Especially a 364 page book. Ll
I have been trying my absolute darndest to get into this book because it sounded right up my alley. Idk if I am just in a book slump or my mood just isn't in the mood.
After trying for the last week I am finally just going to give up and try again another time.
Really just struggling to get into this one!
Well, after getting 35% in I have decided to just give up the ghost on this one. I have been trying to love this book and I'm riding the struggle bus. HONK HONK 🚍🚍
I think after reading a couple of other super amazing best friend reads, this one is great. I'm just not digging it the way I did those. So in my mind in comparing them by how much I like them and how much I want to continue reading. But I'm just not in that headspace right now.
I will definitely pick this up again at a later time!
Well this one was a DNF. Without reading the other books in the series it made this harder to read because you need the backstory. IDC what anyone else says, you need to read them in order.
This was such a a weird book. Not as in something is odd, but like this doesn't make any sense. I tried to continue but I couldn't make myself.
Just wasn't what I had hoped it would be like the first was for me!
After getting halfway through I think I just have too much going on in my mind to piece together allllll of the characters and storylines that go with them. I'm not a multiple POV kind of girl and this was just a few too many for me.
This started out to be a great book and slowly went down hill for me. There wasn't enough going on to keep me interested. I did enjoy it until then but I just needed more to happen.
After trying my best to love this book I just couldn't keep going. This had all the elements that I love in a paranormal romance. But some things within the story didn't come together the way I had hoped. At times the dialog was a bit strained, and I feel like the writing could have been better.
With too many inconsistencies and the dialog being off I finally put it down.

🎙 Narrated By: Stephanie Cannon & Will Thorne🎙
Stephanie and Will did an amazing job bringing these characters into our ears!! I came into the audio with ZERO expectations. And boy did I underestimate how well they voiced these characters!!! I am so excited to have found new narrators that I enjoyed listening to! I'm so excited to see what else they have in store!!
📖 On To The Book Review 📖:
I have loved this series from when I started it two books ago and I'm not ready for it to be over 😭!
I'm not a huge royal romance girlie but this may have changed my feelings on them! Okay well as long as Bella writes them then I'm all over it 🥰!
She has a way with her words and how well she builds her characters! I've yet to find a character she has written that I didn't really love 😍.
Bellamy and Rhys aren't breaking my love 💖 streak anytime soon! Thank goodness! I'm not ready to have a breakup with these two! I absolutely loved their banter, the chemistry that they brought!
Rhys is a whole man that every woman wouldn't mind being married to. But he was down bad for his queen! He said MY LOVE 💓 and boy did he mean it. I was swooning so hard I almost fell out of my bed 😂.
Th swooning never got better and I was almost checked into the hospital because I couldn't stop 😂. My husband and was like what's got you smiling like that? A KING 🤴 DO YOU HEAR ME SIR? He worships the ground his love walks on and wouldn't have it any other way.
I just couldn't get enough of these two! I am excited but scared of what happens next! Hold my hand ✋️ so we can do this together ❤️ . We can form a Bella Matthews Book Support Club 😂.
💖✨️ Thank you so much to Bella Matthews for the complimentary 🎧 ALC 🎧 🫶🏻. ✨️ All opinions are my own, honest and voluntary✨️.
I had such high hopes for this story. I went in not knowing much because I'm a rebel. But this just fell flat for me. I tried to get through as much as I could but it was dragging for me and I was struggling to connect with the characters.
DNF @ 50%
After trying my best to get through half of this gem, I seem to have lost interest. If this would have had a slightly faster pace I think I would have been able to finish.
Will try again later.
I tried so hard to really enjoy this book. I have had trouble in the past to read Grady's work and loved all of 1 out of 3. That was Horrorstor, and I really enjoyed it. But alas this one just wasn't hitting right and after reading 25 percent I was done. Further explanation down below.
The beginning was fine, until it moved to why the MC's mom constantly doted on her brother “because he didn't have anyone” crap. Well what do you expect when you caudle one over the other? They are never going to grow up, they continue to depend on said parent to indulge them. I just couldn't continue to read through the crap that was her brother. And instead of putting her child first she chose otherwise and for me that's a big fat NO. Hence when I stopped.
Within that amount of pages there was very much in the way of making me want to continue through the book. If there would have been more happening than what little bit was there I could have continued reading.
Well, here I am again at a DNF. I got to 71% and I just couldn't keep reading. I struggled through some due to the multiple POVs, but in turn like them because it gave some more insight. BUT there was too much going on in the story to try to keep everything straight. A few details were confusing and I just couldn't keep reading. Maybe at a later time I can go back and finish.

✨️ 📚 ARC 📖 REVIEW ✨️
At this point should I even say how much I EAT UP a single dad rancher trope? If you didn't know, well I LOVE THEM! The only thing I eat up more is a surpris pregnancy 😍. Remi never ceases to amaze me with her storytelling. I almost feel like she could write about ANYTHING and I would GOBBLE it up! So no surprise here that I loved this book!
Emilia is out damsel in distress, but has the spunk! She is on her journey to finding herself after leaving her wedding. She refused to be that person and be unhappy. She definitely had a journey to finding herself and her voice! She was the opposite of our broody and grumpy cowboy. She was the perfect match to his broody self!
Garth is your resident cowboy 🤠 with all the hallmark signs. He has a twang to go with every single 💖 Ma'am and ❤️ Darlin. When he walks up your eyes are going to be drawn to the worn cowboy 🤠 hat tight on his head, and even tighter jeans. His boots 👢 are what really brings in tall together. But I would be amiss if I didn't tell you ALLLL about that backward 🧢 baseball cap with the PBR sewn on. But the fun doesn't stop at the boots! He is our own personal broody & grumpy cowboy 🤠 😍. This right here is the recipe for the perfect storm!
Grace was the witty kid you always wanted to have a conversation with because she would leave you in stitches 😆. I loved how Emilia bonds with Grace and the evolution between them! I loved seeing their bond continue to grow as the book went on. I loved seeing how Emilia was able to be that feminine touch that Grace needed.
