This series is amazing and Final Offer was the best way to end this series. Cal was so amazing and I loved watching his progression through the book. Lana was such an amazing character for Cal. This book is highly emotional and I didn't expect all the feels that came with it. Cal is by far my favourite Kane brother! His effort to get better was truly amazing and I loved how much he wanted to prove to himself that he was worth it.
Also: this book deals with addiction and truly shows the struggles of how it feels like to live with an addiction. So be mindful of that before reading!
“Sometimes I wished I wasn't a Devil, because she was the kind of girl who deserved someone who'd never put her through hell.”
This story had me trying to figure all the little twists out from the beginning. Decker and Mallory are absolutely electric! From their first encounter you can tell they're perfect for each other. While trying to write an expose they unintentionally fall in love. A bunch of heartache, and craziness threaten to come between these two.

“For a long time, I had convinced myself that Oaks was the wrong boy for me, for my heart, for good common sense. Turned out it was just the wrong timing, not the boy. The boy is exactly who I want to spend the rest of this crazy life with.”
Tilly and Oaks have been separated for five years. After overhearing a conversation Oaks and her father had, Tilly realized her future with Oaks wasn't what she had hoped. Now she needs a contractor to help fix the Inn she inherited and Oaks is the only one who can help her. Will they be able to remain civil to get the project done?
This short, sweet read was beautiful. Oaks and his little heart broken self made me feel so much. He is such a beautiful character. Tilly is a strong woman who is just overwhelmed with life. I loved that she was able to take a step back and realize there is more to life than just responsibility.
I really wanted more of Oaks and Tilly. The epilogue was perfection! And even though this book is sweet down to its core, the spice level is pretty decent! There are plenty of spicy scenes to go around. I can't wait to read more about the people in Deacon!

3.5 Stars, rounded down for Goodreads.
This book surprised me, and I'm unsure if it was in a good way? I wasn't expecting this book to turn ...weird...when I signed up for the tour LOL. It started off great. Wonderful spicy scenes, the story was easy to follow, there wasn't a lot of information dumps that didn't need to be there (which I appreciate so much). But then it gets a little weird. Some shady side characters that deserved death, descriptive scenes on killing wildlife, kidnapping and assault. Brock turns into a feral man, which I mean...granted. But it fell a little short for me.
I didn't see any TWs listed anywhere before reading this, so it was definitely something that took me by surprise. And if you have triggers PLEASE look them up or reach out to me.
Overall the book was good but I found myself skimming some scenes (the animal deaths and assault particularly). I love how Brock found his peace, and Jessie won her dad's company back. But there were just some parts I wasn't fully expecting to happen.

I absolutely adored this little novella! I am not much of an insta-love person, but I truly liked the characters here, and being isolated in a cabin in a snowstorm gives the perfect “fall in love” vibes.
The mental health rep was nice, even if it wasn't a major plot point. The small mention was enough to bring some realness to the character. I also loved that one of the men is deaf!
I love that the men knew what they wanted. The chemistry between Fox and Ruby was unreal. I also love me a good dad-bod rep with Gallow! And Koji is just ..well ...just read it
QB Tyler is still a newer author to me, but everytime I read a book from her I adore it. Taboo is a genre that can either be done really well - or not well at all. And this one was great! The bond that JP and Whitney share is amazing, and the trust in the relationship led to some spicy scenes (including pegging)!
Whitney's relationship with her family is something I really loved in this story, as well as JPs relationship with them. They were always this really close knit group and I loved the interactions between them.
I loved this second chance romance! It gave me all the feels
If you're a pnr fan, check this one out!
I started reading Ghost on a “sort of” recommendation from a friend! I prefer not to look too much into a story, and I usually skim a blurb. I have been really into PNRs, especially the witch/demon kind, so when the blurb hinted at a demon story, I jumped on it!
I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised! This book was a bit more unique than others I've read in the genre (I'm still new to this genre!) and I loved it. There were moments that felt like they dragged on, but overall I loved the story and plot!
This book is LONG. I originally thought it was much shorter, and I didn't realize it's only book one and I have to waaaaiitttt. But I know it's going to be worth the wait, so you'll catch me pining for the next few months while I twiddle my thumbs LOL.
The character progression of Blythe was amazing! This frail girl, scared and running from her past, has found a home in Ash Grove. She's making friends and finding solace in this month-long halloween festival where people take their costumes a little too seriously. The way she starts to become confident in herself and finds the will to live. And wow! That ending! I wasn't expecting it!
Briana Michaels is becoming a fast favourite as she writes these amazing stories. I have plans to delve into her backlist now because WOWSA.
I absolutely loved Glitch. And I loved this book just as much. The men that Briana writes are high quality, top shelf, kind of men. They are alpha, they are deep, they love fiercely, and they are DIRTY.
This book takes “treat her like a Queen in the streets and a w** in the sheets” to a new level!
And while Erin frustrated me with her push and pull, I'm glad she figured out that she deserves an amazing life. Absolutely wonderful!
Gah! This second chance M/M romance knocked my socks off! I love a good office romance, and this one was chefs kiss. A quick read that had me swooning! Tommy's hatred towards the Christmas season made me terribly sad, but I loved how Matthew was willing to make it all better for him. This is such a sweet book for the Christmas season!
Octavia Jensen outdid herself on this magnificent book! I had a hangover for DAYS. Every time Octavia releases a book I jump on it because I know I'm going to love every minute of it!
There is just something I love so much about brothers best friend, but when you add angst an immediate connection, and a troubled past, you get a masterpiece. And that's evident here.
This book broke my heart over and over, but it was so well done. There are some tough subjects to read about, but man it's worth sticking it through. The character development over the course of the book is absolutely amazing. Of course, there is also off the charts spice, because it wouldn't be an Octavia Jensen story if it didn't have amazing “bedroom” scenes.
I have been waiting for Holden's story since the beginning of this series and I'm so happy to have finally gotten his story! It blew me away! Both him and Julep.
Julep is deeply broken and just surviving the best she can. Grief is hard, but there is added stress that makes it difficult for her to feel anyother other than profound sadness.
Holden has only thought of one thing his whole life...football. He doesn't have time for anything else. That is, until he lays eyes on the one person he can't have...the coaches daughter.
Kandi Steiner is the queen of angsty sexual tension and she does a phenomenal job making the slow burning romance absolutely incredible.
Short, Sweet, and full of Halloween fun!
A first by Abby Knox for me, and I loved it! Super cute read for the Halloween season! With just a little bit of mystery added in to keep it interesting! I love novellas, but even more when the main characters also have a history (in this case, second chance) because although the book may be small, it doesn't seem like instalove! And I absolutely love it!
Definitely give this a read to get you in the Halloween spirit!

I am new to Lilith Vincent, having only read one or two of her books, but everytime I read one I go “wow! That was fantastic!”. This book was no exception.
I am normally not a fan of cheating in books but I think it works really well here. Laz was arranged to marry Giulia so he could settle down and have a child. Giulia came with an 18 year old daughter who is beautiful, smart, witty, and Laz couldn't get enough!
Mia is the black sheep of the family and just wants to get out. Her mother and uncles ignoring her makes her crazy, and overhearing a conversation about how she isn't wanted makes her furious. Laz makes it more difficult for her when he forces himself into her life, in more ways than one.
Laz has a plan that will help everyone get what they want - but it's risky. And he doesn't tell Mia, which could be his biggest downfall.
Read to find out what happens between this beautiful, forbidden, couple!
I love a good friends to lovers, and I love a nice quick novella to read in between heavier content and this was absolutely perfect!
This book was so fun to read, and I loved the chemistry between Hudson and Natalie. For being a novella, I didn't feel like there was too much insta-love, and there was still a ton of spice! There were definitely a few laugh out loud moments, and I loved the connections between some of Ivers other books & novellas!
I really enjoyed getting to know Jamie and Maddie, even though some of it was hard to read. I think Cambria did a fantastic job at having these tough, traumatic, experiences but filling them with lovely moments of love and laughter.
Madison made Jamie work for her love, but once he got through those walls it was impossible to let go. Jamie is a true “bro” being there for his friends and Maddie in their times of need. He's quick to back up his friends and make sure the ones he cares about are safe.
Maddie has had a tough life and keeps herself shut off. Poor girl has been through the ringer a few times but she's such a little fighter! I loved watching her lean into other people and get help carrying the weight of the world.
Jamie was one of my favourite characters in Wet and he didn't disappoint! I did find his use of “bro” to be over-used, but it fits with his personality.
I really hope a Wes and Max book is next!
Levi and Cass.
I've loved every book in the heartbreak series so far, and Levi and Cass are no exception!
I loved the banter between these two. A good enemies to lovers, only one bed trope read! The connection that you felt from the moment Levi pulled Cass into his lap just bled off the pages. I had issues with the secrets Levi kept, because they didn't seem big enough to hold onto. But with the pressure he felt, and the hatred he harboured towards an old teammate, it makes sense that he would just keep it hidden to avoid any further heartbreak. Sometimes it's easier than admitting your true feelings.
These two will take you on a wild ride through 10 days at a resort where they are to share one room while working on a story for the local newspaper together. It will make you laugh and has moments you want to punch Levi...and a certain side character too.
Definitely worth the read! While this can be read as a standalone - I suggest reading the other books in the series for a better reading experience!
I immensely enjoyed this book - even though there were a few things that rubbed me wrong.
I do appreciate the addition of overcoming an eating disorder - but I wish the way the FMC overcame it was talked about a bit more.
I truly loved this one though. I wish the ending gave me a little bit more - but I'm glad it worked out the way it did.
Lennon and Phoenix are toxic at worst, but deep down there is definitely a lot of love that bleeds off the pages for them - especially as they grow into an actual couple.
I'm pretty sure I spent half of this book in complete agony and I'm not even upset about it. Jewel E Ann is a wizard, undoubtedly, and the conclusion to Josie and Colten's story was so heartbreaking and beautiful in all sorts of ways.
“It took twenty-seven years for me to fully open up my heart to him. It took twenty-seven years for me to feel worthy of his love.”
Do not go into this story thinking it's butterflies and rainbows because it HURTS. This book HURTS. Every feeling that Josie goes through, every time Colten tries to help, you feel it all through the magnificent writing.
“Baby, we're all a little broken. I'll take you chipped, cracked, or shattered into a million little pieces.”
I didn't ask to be wrecked, but I'm sure glad I was!
Wow! What a phenomenal read by BB Easton! I felt compelled from the beginning of this book right to the end. The story between Kellen and Darby was so unique. I loved the bits of Irish Folklore & storytelling, I loved watching them overcome their traumas, and I loved how their story came to a close.
Kellen was raised believing he was the devil, but when he laid eyes on the beauty of Darby, he knew she was an angel.
Darby believes fairies exist in the forest, so when she finds Kellen in the forest, she believes he's a fairy and full of fairy magic.
Octavia does it AGAIN. Sin Sessions was so hot and beautiful all at the same time. Dr Ethan Stag is amazing. Cora is a woman who just wants to be wanted, and from the beginning I could piece together why she wasn't - which made her affair a little easier to swallow.
I'm not a fan of cheating in books, but this one was actually really easy to read due to the reasons why it happened. And those reasons brought her to Dr Stag. Ethan pushes her to figure out what she wants and how to communicate it properly (which we can all learn from). I loved the psychobabble!
This book has :
Bdsm themes
Forbidden attraction
Praise kink
A little jealousy
Sour patch kids
Funny cat documentaries.
Seriously, if you're a fan of BDSM themes (done right!) and quick easy reads, you need to check out Octavia Jensen! Seriously! What are you waiting for? There are even MM books for you to read! Go. Now. Go go.
Cliffhangers. I dislike them because I'm so engrossed in a story that I never want it to end.
And Colten and Josies story had me so engrossed....and then bam! A cliffhanger! Like no other cliffhanger! And now I have to wait until I can read part two of this absolutely amazing story!
The back and forth between past and present got a little funky sometimes, but it was so, so important to the story. Every little piece is needed to fully appreciate who Josie and Colten are. Josie is very straight-to-the-point and take no bullshit, and Colten is someone who pushes but then falls in line. Both have been in love with each other for years, but is love enough to rebuild what they once had? Seventeen years is a long time apart, with hatred towards Colten, can Josie forgive him?
I loved watching these two learn who each other was again, while remembering the little quirks and pieces of each other that are core traits.
Jewel E Ann is just...perfect at writing these amazing stories that grip you from the first page and never want to end. I can't wait for part two!!!
Debut author Jenna Lockwood blew it out of the park with Never Til Now! This book touches on some hard themes and brings awareness to some issues children in foster care face, so be aware of those if it's a trigger for you!
Lauren is a nurse practitioner who just moved to San Francisco. As someone who never really had a family and experienced the harsh realities of foster care, she has built up an impenetrable wall to keep others at a distance.
Adam is the heir to a hotel dynasty, and while he's had everything he ever wanted, he doesn't really want any of it. A player to his bones, he swears he will never settle down with anyone.
When Adam first sees Lauren in the hotel bar, he knows he has to have her. And when she tells him she wants no commitment? How much more perfect could it be? Friends with benefits is exactly what he's looking for, but what happens when lines get crossed?
The side characters are all amazing and the healing and character progression is fantastic. Truly an amazing debut novel! I can't wait to see what more Jenna Lockwood has in store for us!
4.5 Stars!
This was probably my favourite book so far in the Ladies Who Brunch Series!
Penelope is this strong woman who puts up a front with humour and keeps her emotions locked tight in a box.
Maddox is perceived to be a huge player on and off the football field. And he's off-limits!
After having a one night stand, they thought they'd never see each other again. That is, until Maddox is traded to an LA team and Penelope becomes the head of PR.
This story is full of push and pull, but the spice in between is great! You can tell Pen and Maddox have great chemistry. I hated that Pen was willing to go through life feeling lonely vs telling people about her history. But I'm glad that Maddox pushed her and allowed her to open up to him slowly.
This is one of my favourite series I've read this year, so if you haven't read them yet..do it! The best part is the bond between the friends and how they play such a big role in each other's lives.
Ugh. This was the perfect conclusion to Harrison and Briella. I loved these two from the first moment they were trapped in an elevator (11 Hours) right up to doing 11 Scenes and getting their freak on.
This conclusion gave me everything I love and have ever wanted in an epilogue...but so much more.
We get to see Harrison and Briella get engaged, married, have children, and grow old together. We get to see them going through life changes and how they handle them. The important dates. The important memories of life.
Although there are a TON of sweet moments in this novella, the spice is even more top-notch! The 11 series has been mostly pure smut and I loved it!!
Get yourselves a Harrison guys. Seriously. He's husband material!
