I've never read Calvin and Hobbes before. It was cute, had some funny moments (as well as some astute ones), and made me very thankful for how well behaved my own kid is!

I never would have picked this up if not for book club, and I'm so glad that I did! I loved the different perspectives on one giant man's life (none of which were his own). I really enjoyed seeing things from the Amish perspective, it was so interesting. It was sad and poignant. Beautiful book!

Ooh, this was a good mystery! I enjoyed both timelines, which is always nice when they go back and forth. My only complaint being that the back and forth was occasionally confusing. I really liked it though!
