Karen Strong is the critically acclaimed author of several novels for young readers including Just South of Home, an Ignyte Award finalist; Eden’s Everdark, a BCCB Blue Ribbon selection; and The Secret Dead Club, a Southern Book Prize finalist. Karen is also the editor of the anthology Cool. Awkward. Black. Her books have been praised by Publishers Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, Booklist, and School Library Journal and selected for numerous best of year and recommended reading lists. Karen’s writing appears in multiple award-winning and bestselling anthologies, and as a Star Wars contributor her short fiction is featured in From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back and Stories of Jedi and Sith.
