A few years ago I first discovered the fun and amusing illustrations and devotions of [a:Phil A. Smouse 66739 Phil A. While the Promise Bible was hardcover with a ribbon, the [b:365 Bible Promises for Little Hearts: Encouraging, Character-Building Thoughts for Kids Ages 3 to 7 12614062 365 Bible Promises for Little Hearts Encouraging, Character-Building Thoughts for Kids Ages 3 to 7 Phil A. While the main interior text and concept is the same, there are some great new benefits to this edition. This 2012 Bible Promises book is available in eBook format as well as this awesome little paperback. It is also printed in the United States as opposed to India like the one before. That is a major plus to me. Maybe I'm being silly, but another thing that I like is that this book is called 365 Bible Promises - it immediately tells me that it is a devotional while with the former being called My Everyday Promise Bible makes me feel like it should have been more than just devotional. Overall, I definitely think you could be pleased with this one added to your child's shelf. Thanks to Barbour Books for providing a copy for review.Posted: http://creativemadnessmama.com/blog/2012/02/02/365-bible-promises-for-little-hearts-by-phil-a-smouse/
