Overall, I think this was one of the best books that I have read this year. I was so excited to dive in, and now I have some new places to add to my “true crime must sees and haunted places to visit” trip that I am planning.
Zak Bagins (although I am a fan of Ghost Adventures) is mentioned a lot in this work, and I think a few less mentions, and a little more original thought from the author would have been nice, but at the end, it still gave me enough urge and overall enjoyment that I would read it again. There is a little bit of everything in here, and that will be a draw for a lot of future readers.
This book is worthless if you aren't already a fan of their podcast. There's some interesting information, but it's not worth slogging through their personal anecdotes to get to. Learning who wore which football jersey to a meet-up is not as compelling as they think it is.
