A Lady's Desire

The only complaint I've got is that I could have done without the flashbacks. Other than that, this book was a delight. While they story is short, Sarah and Win and a solid couple and they really, really work well together. There is no annoying and/or unpleasant men leering as I always seem to come across in contemporary F/F. Honestly, there's few men of any import that have speaking roles in this story. I was very interested in the glance at how to women would make a go of it together during a time all women were expected to marry.

(Also, this series interest me greatly - the author, too - as I believe it's the first one I've come across that has F/F, M/M and F/M as main pairings in the books. ... This one does have the highest rating of all of them, there is that, but I think I'll take a look at the rest of them. ... Especially Eleanor's story.)
