A heartbreaking story and a true one to boot. I believe this is a good book to have the kids in classrooms read.
I'm not sure how to put my feelings into words. Such a small book with a powerful and heart breaking story. A story most of us will never experience or understand the pain of.
I really enjoyed the way it was laid out...intertwining two different stories from two different time periods that end up together at the end. Definitely worth the read.
