Woo! New exercises to try out. Includes a pull out anatomy map with the exercises. A range of program options for beginners. Descriptions of exercises in each of the 5 essential movements (why these five? Who knows! Deadlift, lunge, push, pull, abs)
Lots of movement options depending on what you have handy or how your gym is kitted out. How you'd go about progressing the non-weighted exercises is not clear. Perhaps check out You Are Your Own Gym instead?
I wanted more explanation about the why's and how's of the programming, alas. I need a different kind of book.
