Brave

Finished last night. I appreciate the cover art with her alone on this one. I think the symbolism of that and the word “Brave” is strong.

Unfortunately, I am pretty addicted to this series. But it is a mess. I'll be reading the short stories but look forward to moving on from Ivy and Ren's romance. The scenes were skippable and I was more annoyed than charmed by them.

HOWEVER, the mystery and lore/world-building here is interesting with surprises in every turn. Tink is a super strong character and really helped this entire book be much more enjoyable.

Overall, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this series but it was the escape I needed in this time in my life.
