Buried in My Past

I was sent a copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review when I signed up for this blog tour.

This book was a little hard to fully get into at first. I was hooked from the first chapter but each chapter is from a different perspective and it was hard to keep up with at first. There are 7 different perspectives but after the initial introductions to them some of them didn't have as much page time as others. We mostly get Jamie and Drews perspective which once that started happening I was good.

If I'm not mistaken this is the authors debut novel and while it could have used a little more fine tuning I think the author did a great job. I was able to guess some things but others were a surprise. Also even though I was able to guess it didn't take away from my enjoyment.

I felt some things at the end were wrapped up too easily and I would have liked more closure on the romance. While the romance isn't the main focus of the book it was pretty prominent and I felt like it was glossed over in the end.

Overall a great debut and I definitely would read other books by this author. This is getting a 4 star from me.
