What a great collection! I loved every single one of those stories!
Don't You Wann Stay - 4.5/5
This lovely, slow-burn romance is a wonderful addition to the series! Deanna and Wyatt are such a great match - even if one of them might need a bit longer to realize that. I loved seeing them grow close and become true partners, not only in a professional sense.
As always, it's a treat to visit with lots of “old friends” (special shout out to Ari!) and meet the heroes and heroines from future books (I sincerely hope that's not just wishful thinking on my part... :D).
Made For Loving You - 5/5
This book gave me all the feels, and I loved the story of hopeless (or rather hopeful?) romantic Paisley and her high school sweetheart Ty!
I first fell in love with Paisley in “Let It Be Me”, where she proved to be an awesome friend to Emerson. That she's an equally awesome shero was made clear in the novella “Bad Case of Loving You” (the prequel to “Made For Loving You” that you don't want to miss!). Ty is such a perfect - albeit reluctant - match for her, and I loved seeing them overcome all their doubts and personal hangups.
I enjoyed the suspense story arc - though if you ask me, the true hero of this tale is Duke, hands (paws) down!
Be Careful, It's My Heart - 4/5
For me, this was a wonderful introduction to the small town of Wishful and its inhabitants. Small-town romance at its best, with main characters I can root for, a quirky ensemble of friends and other “townfolk” ;), and lots of humor and heart.
Officially the second book in the series, but can absolutely be read as a standalone.
Disclaimer: I have never seen A Christmas Story, so I didn't get the references to either musical or movie, but I still enjoyed the storyline.
