Countdown City

Short review: I didn't like this as much as the first book. This shifted from being a mystery book with an apocalyptic setting to being a full blown apocalyptic books with a mystery subtext. It is not bad, but the character is annoying. The other characters start asking, ‘why are you doing this all the time' until the character starts asking. And the reader has no idea why the guy is doing this.

I also think I am a bit tired of the genre right now. So I may be being a bit hard on it.
