Day of the Dead

There are so many twists in this book. Holy sugar! Nikki Landis keeps a girl guessing in Day of the Dead. This may be the fifth book in the “Mystic Hollows Harem” franchise, but Landis does not stop with the drama, action, or the increasing “fun”.

This story focuses on the repercussions of Cassie's previous decisions and her internal battle with the results. Landis handles the emotional drama while balancing showdowns and intimacy. Landis manages to do all this in 77 pages (more or less depending on your font and reader). Damn. Landis is so good.

Dead grips you and does not let go. Cassie is a complex character that you want to keep reading about. Then there are the men. We know so much more about Damien, Ryder, and now someone else (laugh I'm not telling). I cannot wait to find out more about the rest of the guys.

You could start right here with Day of the Dead as Landis writes the best “let's bring you up-to-date” I have ever read. This is a series you want to read. Paranormal at its best as it has a little bit of everything plus magic.
