An excellent WW1 thriller, complete with a kidnapped fair lady and military men who nearly lose their lives in the trenches and subsequent captivity. There are a lot of folks in danger and I couldn't stop flipping pages to see which ones would survive. I really enjoyed the wild ride, and I couldn't predict the ending at all. New favorite.
