Dragon Soldier picks up three weeks after Dragon Detective ends and Mell Eight continues the magical relationship between Nickel and Platinum.
Once again, Eight concentrates on relationships and in this case the comfort needed for Platinum to move forward in his new life. While Nickel needs to come to terms with the results of the rescue operation and his injuries.
Dragon Soldier does not have a lot of action, but it is a slow burn new adult romance between two injured souls. Eight once again hits all of the right notes when combining family, diversity, and romance in Dragon Soldier.
