Edna's Secret Marriage; or, Love's Champion

I really enjoyed this book! It is unpredictable, something pleasant in a sort of plot that could easily become melodramatic or overblown. Edna's personality is not too goody-goody; she is hasty in judgment more than once, instead of being a perfect, flawless heroine. The characters are well written, and it is easy to sympathize with Edna and her husband's troubles, and even a girl in the story who is jealous of her is a character easy to sympathize with.

I will definitely be looking for my own copy of this.
