An enjoyable, smooth read. I was drawn in immediately by Susanna Kearsley's voice. The structure was... different. But I felt it worked. Lots of flashbacks, which I did skim a little, but overall they were enjoyable and relevant. The plotting was good, but relied on coincidence a little to much for me to be able to call it great. A nice sweet war-time romance woven in. Overall it was a good book. Look forward to reading another Susanna Kearsley.
