This is a book to kick back and enjoy on a dull winter's day. As Christmas approaches, Eden's on the run, her son's life in danger. She breaks down in Summer Harbor, where she meets the Callahan brothers. She'd like to believe she can find true freedom...but can she stop running long enough to enjoy it?
The characters jump off the page in colorful, memorable images. I lived with these people this evening, feeling Micah's winces as a car backfires, hurting with Eden as she tries to deny that she's falling in love with a man all too eager to come to her rescue. Too bad I already preordered book two last week, because I can say this book made me run out and buy it! I definitely am looking forward to Zac and Riley's stories and am so grateful that Hunter has planned to release both books this year!
