Grace Trey is an eighteen-year-old singer as passionate about her Christian faith as she is her phenomenal music talent. Both traits come from her father, one-hit wonder Jonny Trey, who found a new life in Jesus after losing his chart success. When she encounters her own music break of a lifetime, the sudden dive into the "real world" puts her deeper beliefs to the test.

What an incredible book! It's my first Melody Carlson's book and I really liked it! I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm happy I read the book first. I think that it's important to know what's inside Grace's head because in the movie you can't do that, so sometimes I felt identified with her at some points.
I'm quite sure that I'm going to read more books of this author because her style is quite impressive.
