“House Rules: 1. God came to my house and I killed him. 2. I will kill anyone who comes into my house as I killed God. 3. Give me one dead body, and I might let rule two slide. You have until dawn.”
Those are the rules by which the game is moderated. The team that made Frank E. Peretti and Ted Dekker is awesome. Both have a particular style of writing that merged in this book. The book is fairly easy to read and the pace is constant. In addition, the intrigue of knowing the history of the characters keeps you up to the last word. The villain, Barsidious White, is a very well crafted, demonstrating wisdom, intelligence and represents pure evil. It's a story that leads you to examine your own heart.
