I finally picked this up after attending a panel with the writer and artist at Rose City and I'm really glad I did. I am intrigued by the world and anxious to continue Forever's story.
Highly recommend.
Very cool! I love the concept, I love the delivery, and I can't wait to get my hands on [b:Lazarus, Vol. 2: Lift 20299674 Lazarus, Vol. 2 Lift Greg Rucka https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1395593236s/20299674.jpg 28133246]!
A very good starting volume. An interesting dystopian concept in which wealthy families control territories and resources, each of these families own a Lazarus to protect the family holdings. Oh, yeah, the Lazari are genetically engineered so you don't wanna fuck with them.
The Carlyle twins seem to suffer from the “Lannister” syndrome. What is it with twins?
Definitely going for the next volume.
