We're on a Llama Llama kick today. This is the latest from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. I think the child characters are adorable. Not a very exciting story but good in the sense of advice when someone is mean walk away and tell someone about bullying. Make friends instead!
I read this for storytime at work. I hadn't read any of the llama llama books before, so when this book was selected by corporate for an in-store kids' storytime, it was new to me. While I don't know if I would have liked it at that age, it definitely teaches a good lesson about playing nicely together. The illustrations are excellent, also.
I must say that I like it better than Dr. Seuss! (hides)
