This quote could easily be applied to both Willow and Roman.

So far, Willow is my favorite heroine of the princess troupe. I love her no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners approach to dealing with life, the universe, and everything (and, of course, Roman), although my heart breaks for her considering why she feels she has to be that way.
And - as it's usually the case in Maggie's books - I appreciate that there is way more to Roman than just the “bad boy” cliché.

It was fun to see how both Willow and Roman were so far out of their usual comfort zones with each other, and yet they complemented each other so well.
