What I like best about Lotte Freundenberger is that the character is who she is and makes no qualms about it. When the “Lotte Freundenberger Series” begins Lotte is a bisexual tennis coach who likes to play tennis and have sex. She maintains friends with benefits with both sexes and refuses to choose. She will not be shamed for liking sex and not settling down.
Gaja J. Kos takes a chance with writing a character in a female form that is usually written for men. Then Kos takes it one step further and makes Lotte loyal, sexy, trustworthy, reckless, and driven to protect beyond her wolf traits. Lotte is a fantastic friend if you can get past her walls. She is funny, driven, and she comes with benefits. (wink)
Kos adds in a mystery in every book which ends up testing Lotte in new and interesting ways. Lotte has grown and changed since the first book, but her basic foundation has not changed. Kos has battle scenes, action, despair, heart break, snarky lines, family, and of course hot steamy moments.
I am a huge fan of Kos from another series of her's. Lotte just sealed our relationship with a bow. If you are looking for a hero who will go to the wall for friends and family and has a little fun on the way: Lotte is for you!
I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
