Really difficult to rate, especially since I did not finish, so this review is based on the first 47 %.
Big turn-off: POV is first person, present. NOT my cup of tea.
Still, I gave it a try.
At first, I thought I might like it - the rappelling scene was hilarious!
But Jack remained an arrogant prick (does he change in the second half of the story?), and I felt really bad for Lisa, having to deal with her horrible family (who didn't seem to get any redeeming qualities while the story progressed - does this get better in the second half?) and everything.
Having read other stories by Geralyn Corcillo, and reallyreally liked them, I will still read her other books. Sad to say, this one was not for me.
