On a Midnight Clear

3.5 stars. Cute Christmas fairy tale, written without Morton's usual snark. Don't expect any character development or genuine relationship dynamics (Cosmo is literally a Manic Pixie Dream Guy, a statue who comes alive and fulfills all of Bradley's dreams without expecting anything in return). But there is magic, a cute dog, and a predictable but still effective climactic scene. Morton concludes with her typical epilogue “HEA plus” chapter, where everyone is deliriously happy. A nice addition to the M/M Christmas romance genre.
