More than two decades ago, Olivia left her old life behind in the red dirt of Oklahoma and forged a career as a country music star. Now her voice is failing just as secrets from her past come knocking at the door. One More Song to Sing is a romantic drama about the power of forgiveness, second chances, and a God who never fails to see us.

I thoroughly enjoyed this debut novel and am really grateful for my friend Andrea's recommendation of it. It's very well written and the style is easy to stay engaged in and flipping pages. I'm so glad I snagged a copy last week as the publisher was going out of business, and I'm very glad it will be staying in print under new ownership.
Olivia and Ellie are both engaging characters with real problems to work through, and I loved all the musical details. But I found myself holding my breath as the tension between the two ramped up and threatened to ignite in a huge way. It's definitely a heartfelt story and deals with reals issues.
Past sins aren't excused and neither are present ones (I loved one lady's response to her lying friend and staying on her case! True friend.) and a gentle faith message is included.
