Outcasts of Order

Very enjoyable entry in the “Recluce” series and a worthy successor to “The Mongrel Mage”. (Also very excited to learn that Beltur's story will be continued in the next book!) There are reasons why the Saga of Recluce has reached the 20-book milestone and this book exemplifies them: well-drawn characters, well-written situations of danger and tension, lots of details about chaos and order and how they contrast with each other as well as complement each other, magery, the struggle between good and evil, and more. What fun!
