Phoebe's life is about as average as any other little girl's life could be, until she meets a mystical unicorn who offers her one wish. After a few failed attempts (no, unlimited money is not an acceptable wish), she wishes for the unicorn to become her best friend, and shenanigans ensue.

I mean, what is there to really say about this? It's about a little girl and her best friend, who just happens to be a unicorn, who can make herself visible or invisible at will to everyone else. Phoebe's parents are shockingly chill about their daughter having a unicorn hang around all the time, but Phoebe is a fairly odd little kid. Her oddness definitely supplies the majority of the hilarity in the comics; I didn't really go in expecting much, but I laughed out loud a few times and smiled a lot.
While it isn't my favorite, I'd definitely check out following volumes when I'm bored and wanting a light and enjoyable read. I would highly recommend this one for younger kids, as I think they'd be pretty captivated by it.
