I have eagerly been waiting for the release of [b:Psalm 23 15767094 Psalm 23 Richard Jesse Watson http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1352964384s/15767094.jpg 21472098] after falling in love with the artwork and the simplicity of scripture verse in [b:The Lord's Prayer 9602387 The Lord's Prayer Rick Warren http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1328846409s/9602387.jpg 14489514] and now that I have my hands on an advanced copy I'm in love. Definitely one to want a real copy and definitely one to recommend. The illustrations are absolutely lovely. Being able to flip through each page and just look, sharing the scripture divided up in easy to memorize bits and discussing the contemporary mix of historical imagery of lamb, child and lion with my young daughter is priceless. Richard Jesse Watson has true talent with art and I'll be looking for others and hopefully for more scripture and verse ones in the future. Beautiful for your shelves and a great way to introduce memory verses. Thanks to Zondervan for providing an ARC for review.— Update on a real copy.
