An old-fashioned tale of Sally, who's forty-nine and marrying for the first time. I loved how Sally's quiet faith is her anchor each time life slaps her in the face and loved her determination to keep going on, yet doing the right thing. Various colorful neighbors lend interest to this old small-town story.
